  • Patent number: 8514281
Abstract: There is provided an imaging apparatus which can prevent a privacy zone from being shifted from a mask when a magnification converting lens is switched. The imaging unit (3) has an extender (29) which is a magnification converting lens capable of switching between an inserted state and an extracted state with respect to an optical axis. The signal processing circuit (5) composites a mask to an object region of the privacy zone in the image generated by the imaging unit (3). The control unit (13) controls the signal processing circuit (5) according to switching of the extender (29). When the extender (29) is switched, the control unit (13) instructs the signal processing circuit (5) to change the mask region in the image according to the magnification shift caused by the switching of the extender (29) and maintains the privacy zone in a masked state after the signal processing circuit (5) is switched.

  • Patent number: 8400499
Abstract: An endoscope apparatus (1) includes a rigid scope portion (2) having an imaging window (5) at a front end thereof; a camera unit portion (3) mounted to a root end of the rigid scope portion (2); and a vibration generating device (4) mounted to the camera unit portion (3). The camera unit portion (3) can obtain an image of the inside of a body cavity through the imaging window (5). The vibration generating device (4) provides vibration to the rigid scope portion (2) through the camera unit portion (3) to defog the imaging window (5). This can provide an endoscope apparatus that can reduce the cost and size of a scope portion and has a high defogging effect.

  • Patent number: 8330813
Abstract: In a camera 12, a sound input unit inputs a monitoring sound obtained from a monitoring place, and an image generation unit generates a monitoring image obtained from the monitoring place. A sound anomaly detection unit then detects a sound anomaly in the monitoring place based on the monitoring sound, and an image anomaly detection unit detects an image anomaly in the monitoring place based on the monitoring image. A comprehensive anomaly judgment unit comprehensively judges whether or not there is an anomaly based on detection results of the sound anomaly detection unit and the image anomaly detection unit. When the comprehensive anomaly judgment unit judges that there is an anomaly, an anomaly notification unit notifies a controller 14 of the anomaly. An anomaly can be reliably detected by the comprehensive anomaly judgment.
