  • Patent number: 4809844
Abstract: A tubular belt conveyor can transport powdered or granular material without leakage. To roll up a flat belt into a tubular shape, a belt guiding device is provided in the vicinity of a front or a rear end roller. The belt guiding device comprises a base plate and a plurality of guide frames provided on the base plate. In the guide frame, a plurality of guide rollers are arranged like a circle through which the belt to be rolled up passes. The diameter of the circle formed by the guide rollers increases gradually towards the front or the rear end roller to prevent the belt from slacking so that smooth running may be assured.

  • Patent number: 4778046
Abstract: A transporting belt is partially held by a holding belt. The holding belt is rolled up into a tubular shape through which both of the forward and return paths of the transporting belt passes. Both of the belts are supported by a plurality of shape-maintaining frames each of which comprises a plurality of shape-maintaining rollers arranged like a circle. The holding belt is provided at a horizontal or vertical curved portion so that the transporting belt may travel smoothly and may not be exposed to the weather.

  • Patent number: 4762221
Abstract: A tubular belt conveyor can convey powdered or granular material without leakage continuously. The belt conveyor comprises a forward path and a return path and is opened into flattened shapes which are wound around a driving and a follower roller at both ends. The forward and return paths are on the same vertical plane in the vicinity of the driving and follower rollers and are in the same substantially horizontal plane therebetween so as to simplify foundation, maintenance and inspection.

  • Patent number: 4747344
Abstract: A tubular belt conveyor is supported by a plurality of support frames, some of which comprise a fixed roller and a pressing roller which is biased by compression springs to get close and away with respect to the fixed roller. Between the two rollers, narrow space is formed through which the forward belt is elliptically deformed so that the conveyed materials may be compressed. Particularly, with a steep slope, the materials thus solidified by the rollers can be easily carried by the tubular belt conveyor without slipping down.

  • Patent number: 4510274
Abstract: An emulsion of a quarterly vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsified in an aqueous medium, is provided. The quarterly copolymer comprises: 100 parts, by weight, of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer prepared from 95 to 60 parts, by weight, of vinyl acetate monomer (I) and 5 to 40 parts, by weight, of ethylene monomer (II); 0.5 to 7 parts, by weight, of an acid monomer (III) selected from the group consisting of monobasic unsaturated carboxylic acids each having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acids each having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, anhydrides of said dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acids and semi-esters of said dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acids each having an alkyl chain of the alcohol part having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and mixture thereof; and 0.5 to 15 parts, by weight, of an acrylamide compound (IV) represented by the general formula of: CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHCONHCH.sub.2 OR; wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms.
