  • Patent number: 5660551
Abstract: The present invention is aimed at a provision of a connector for high speed transmission, in which no or little cross-talk occurs and irregularity of a propagation delay is improved. The connector includes a plurality of ground contacts having a generally L-shaped cross section, and arranged in a regular parallel arrangement. The whole sectional shape of the connector is in the form of a grid. The connector also includes a plurality of contacts for signal transmission, that are located within the grid, so that the signal transmission contacts are substantially surrounded by ground contacts.

  • Patent number: 5487097
Abstract: It is an object to accurately obtain the period of the horizontal synchronizing signal in the video signal. The number of internal pulses are measured in a predetermined measurement period defined by the horizontal synchronizing signal. It is assumed that the periods of the horizontal synchronizing signal and the internal pulse are denoted as T.sub.H and T.sub.S, and the measurement period is defined by one period of a divided signal NS which is obtained by N-dividing the horizontal synchronizing signal. In this case, the length of the measurement period is N.multidot.T.sub.H. The period of the horizontal synchronizing signal is obtained when the internal pulse is activated K times in the measurement period. After the measurement period is started, the divided signal NS transits between the Kth activation of the internal pulse and the (K+1)th activation, and the measurement period is ended. Accordingly, there is the relation of T.sub.S .multidot.K<N.multidot.T.sub.H <T.sub.S .multidot.(K+1). The error .

  • Patent number: 5347317
Abstract: The present invention relates to a horizontal oscillation circuit for generating horizontal drive pulses to be used for a cathode-ray tube. A microcomputer measures the frequency or the period of an input horizontal synchronizing signal, takes out a target value corresponding to the measured frequency or the period from an EEPROM, and gives a set value corresponding to the target value to a first D-A converter. The microcomputer also gives a set value corresponding to 1/2 of a period of the input horizontal signal to a second D-A converter. A first monostable multivibrator outputs a pulse signal having pulse widths corresponding to the output voltage of the first D-A converter. A second monostable multivibrator outputs a horizontal drive pulse signal having pulse widths corresponding to the output voltage of the second D-A converter.

  • Patent number: 4159533
Abstract: An electronic cash register comprises a read only memory, a central processor unit, entry and function keys, memory means including an entry memory storing input data from said entry keys and first and second data memories storing respectively first and second data, a double function key for transferring first data to the first data memory and second data to the second data memory, and printing means for printing input data, price total and further the first and second data. The memory means further comprises a first flag memory storing a "1" when the entry memory stores the first data and a second flag memory storing a "1" when first data is transferred from the entry memory to the first data memory. When the double function key is operated while first data is stored in the entry memory and a "1" is stored only in the first flag memory, the first data is transferred to the first data memory and the second flag memory now stores a "1". The entry and first flag memories are then cleared.
