  • Patent number: 5191476
Abstract: A great relative aperture zoom lens includes, in succession from the object side, a first lens unit having positive refractive power, a second lens unit having negative refractive power, a third lens unit having positive refractive power, and a fourth lens unit having positive refractive power. The first lens unit, the third lens unit and the fourth lens unit are designed to be moved toward the object side and displaced relative to the second lens unit during magnification change from the wide angle end to the telephoto end. The second lens unit comprises a forward unit having negative refractive power and positioned on the object side, and a rearward unit having positive refractive power and positioned on the image side, and is designed to satisfy the following condition:-3.ltoreq.f.sub.G2 .multidot.h.sub.G2R /f.sub.T .ltoreq.-1.76wheref.sub.G2 : the focal length of the second lens unit;h.sub.

  • Patent number: 5181959
Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-concentration starch adhesive prepared by treating a starch slurry at a temperature of 100.degree. C. or above to form a gelatinized solution and suspending an ungelatinized starch in the gelatinized solution. According to the present invention, the viscosity of the starch adhesive can be kept stable over a long period of time; the problems such as warp due to the expansion and contraction, by the absorption of water, of the material to be adhered, can be solved; and the quantity of heat necessitated in the adhesion step can be much reduced.

  • Patent number: 5126883
Abstract: A telephoto zoom lens, when viewed from the object, comprises: a first lens group having positive refracting power; a second lens group having negative refracting power; a third lens group having positive refacting power; a fourth lens group having positive refracting power; and a fifth lens group having negative refacting power, wherein, when magnification is varied from the wide angle end to the telephoto end, an air interval between the first lens group and the second lens group is enlarged, an air interval between the second lens group and the third lens group is reduced, an air interval between the third lens group and the fourth lens group is enlarged and an air interval between the fourth lens group and the fifth lens group is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5076677
Abstract: A two-group zoom lens includes a first lens group having a negative refractive power, and a second lens group having a positive refractive power, zooming being effected with the spacing between the first lens group and the second lens group being relatively varied. The first lens group comprises, in succession from the object side, a first lens component having a negative refractive power, a second lens component having a negative refractive power and having an aspherical shape in which the negative refractive power becomes weaker toward the marginal portion, and a third lens component having a positive refractive power. The zoom lens satisfies the following condition: ##EQU1## where .vertline.As-s.vertline. is the difference in the direction of the optic axis between the aspherical surface of the second lens component on the most marginal edge of the effective diameter thereof and a reference spherical surface having a predetermined vertex radius of curvature, f.sub.

  • Patent number: 4957355
Abstract: A retrofocus type lens system has a first lens group having a negative refracting power and a second lens group having a positive refracting power in the order named from an object side. The second lens group is constituted by a front group having a positive refracting power and a rear group which has a positive refracting power and is movable along an optical axis to have a focusing function. The rear group of the second lens group has an aspherical lens having at least one aspherical surface. The aspherical lens has a shape with which a negative refracting power is gradually increased from its vertex to its periphery.
