  • Publication number: 20200271578
Abstract: Provided is a toilet device which includes a toilet body including a toilet bowl part, and an analysis device that includes an optical member in contact with urine introduced into the toilet bowl part and that is capable of analyzing a constituent of the urine by detecting analysis light propagated within the optical member and totally reflecting off a urine contact surface of the optical member. An optical path for the analysis light is set such that the analysis light totally reflects off the urine contact surface of the optical member multiple times through multiple reflection. This can increase the number of times the analysis light reflects off the urine contact surface against urine.

  • Publication number: 20120167296
Abstract: Provided is a urinal drain trap which is capable of preventing diffusion of odor for a long period of time. The urinal drain trap (10) is equipped with a lid (11) having an inlet (11A); a body (12) having an outlet (12C); and a tubular partition wall (13). The interior of the body (12) is divided into a first region (31) and a second region (32). The first region (31) and the second region (32) are linked with each other by a third region (33). Sealing liquid is injected into the first region (31), this sealing liquid being non-water-soluble, having a lower specific gravity than urine, and forming a sealing layer (S) at an elevation above retained urine. In a peripheral area of the lower end of the partition wall (13), there is formed a connecting portion (14) which extends laterally. In a peripheral area of the tip of the connecting portion (14), there is formed a folded portion (15) which extends upward.

  • Patent number: 8142572
Abstract: A lavatory pan washing apparatus includes a water supply unit supplying washing water into a rim so that a whirling flow is formed in a lavatory bowl, an air inlet pipe connected to a water discharge channel continuing to the downstream side of a water sealing portion of a pan, an air sucking unit sucking air through the pipe from the channel, and a control unit configured to activate the water supply unit at a time of washing of the pan so that the washing water is supplied into the water sealing portion. The control unit is configured to start activation of the air sucking unit after rise of a water level in the lavatory bowl, so that air is sucked through the pipe from the channel. The control unit is configured to deactivate the water supply unit after air has flowed through the air inlet pipe into the channel.

  • Publication number: 20100212696
Abstract: A lavatory pan washing apparatus and a lavatory pan washing method which are able to achieve both a higher discharging performance and a higher water-saving effect are provided. The lavatory pan washing apparatus includes water supply means that supplies washing water to a lavatory bowl 2 of a lavatory pan 1, a water discharge channel 5 continuing to the downstream side of a water sealing portion 4 of the lavatory pan 1, air sucking means that sucks air from the water discharge channel 5, and control means that controls the water supply means and the air sucking means. The control means activates the water supply means and starts supply of the washing water to the water sealing portion 4 via the lavatory bowl 2 and, after having raised the water level in the lavatory bowl 2, activates the air sucking means when washing the lavatory pan 1.

  • Publication number: 20090151063
Abstract: A toilet flushing apparatus for firmly discharging a filth by a small amount of flush water and by a short period of time and still having a flush sound. The toilet flushing apparatus includes a first water supply supplying flush water to a toilet bowl of a toilet main body, a second water supply additionally supplying the flush water, a drain flow path communicated with a downstream side of a water seal portion of the toilet main body, an air sucking mechanism sucking air from the drain flow path, and a control apparatus controlling the first and second water supplies and the air sucking mechanism. The control apparatus produces a siphon operation by operating the air sucking mechanism continuous to operate the first water supply and to open an opening/closing valve through which flush water from the second water supply enters the toilet bowl, after forming a swirl flow inside the toilet bowl and before finishing the siphon operation.
