  • Publication number: 20050153191
Abstract: There is provided a fuel cell, including: a fuel receiving portion for receiving a fuel; a reaction portion for carrying out an electricity generation reaction using the fuel; and a waste water receiving portion for receiving water as a by-product of the electricity generation reaction, in which at least part of the waste water receiving portion has a confirmation window constructed of a transparent member. The fuel cell of the present invention allows detection of a remaining volume of a fuel at a high level of visibility without providing special detection means.

  • Patent number: 5021720
Abstract: A display apparatus of the CRT type displays information by use of a magnetic field. In this apparatus, a deviation amount of the image displayed on the CRT display screen from a reference position is detected by photo sensors arranged at the peripheral positions of the screen. The phase of the display information signal is adjusted for the vertical and horizontal sync signals regarding the CRT so that the display information can be displayed at the reference position on the screen on the basis of the detection information which is obtained from the photo sensors. Thus, the display information can be accurately displayed at the reference position on the CRT screen irrespective of whether the CRT screen is vertically or horizontally set without any influence of an electron beam by the deflecting coils of the display apparatus due to the earth's magnetic field or the like.

  • Patent number: 4569047
Abstract: A signal transmission system for interconnecting a plural number of input/output devices comprises a pair of signal lines for transmitting signals between the input/output devices and a reference signal generator connected to the signal lines for generating a reference signal for using the signal lines on a time-division basis in order for each of the input/output devices to perform signal transmission during an allotted time. A reference signal detector detects the reference signal transmitted from the reference signal generator by the signal lines.

  • Patent number: 4432056
Abstract: A programmable electronic computer is provided with a program storage having address locations for storing a program sequence, an address memory for storing an address of the program sequence to be executed, a program read out circuit connected to the address memory and program storage and adapted to read out a program step stored in an address location in the program storage addressed by the address memory. Circuitry is provided for determining, whether or not the contents of the program step read out by the read out circuit is an instruction. A controller is connected to the determination circuitry and is adapted to cause the program sequence stored in the program storage to be executed from the address stored in the address memory when the determination circuitry identifies the contents of the program step as an instruction, and to replace the address stored in the address memory with another address when the determination circuitry does not identify the contents of the program step as an instruction.
