    Abstract: A variable-capacity exhaust gas turbine supercharger comprises a radial turbine and a compressor driven by the turbine. The turbine has a scroll portion divided into an open scroll chamber and a closed scroll chamber. The open scroll chamber directly communicates with an engine manifold and has a nozzle portion facing circumferential portions of turbine blades. The closed scroll chamber communicates with the engine manifold via a change-over valve and has an annular opening opened to rear portions of the turbine blades, and a nozzle portion having a plurality of gas passages defined by stationary guide vanes is provided between the annular opening of the second scroll chamber and the rear portion of the turbine blades.

    Abstract: In a supercharger bearing assembly including floating bushes journalling a rotor shaft interposed between the rotor shaft and a housing assembly, the floating bushes each have an inner peripheral portion of a smaller length than an outer peripheral portion, to reduce the amplitude of vibration of the floating bush, reduce the loss of power due to a frictional loss and increase resistance to seizure.

    Abstract: A fuel and lubricating oil supply device, wherein lubricating oil for lubricating the wall surfaces of a combustion chamber of an engine is fed to the engine, together with fuel. This fuel and lubricating oil supply device comprises; a device for heating an air-fuel mixture charge, which heating device is provided in an intake passage in which an air-fuel mixture charge is produced; and a lubricating oil supply portion open to the intake passage in the downstream of the heating device, whereby a change in quality or deterioration due to heat, of lubricating oil is prevented.
