  • Publication number: 20080100037
Abstract: A field assemblable trailer that has a container having a bottom, a hitch assembly configured to be securable to the bottom of the container, an axle housing configured to be securable to the bottom of the container, a pair of hub and axle assemblies configured to be attached inside the axle housing and a pair of tires on rims configured to attached to the hubs. The hitch assembly, the axle housing, the pair of hub and axle assemblies and the tires on rims comprise a kit which fits inside the container. The kit takes up a minimal room which leaves the container free to accept a larger primary load for safe keeping. When the container is opened the kit is readily identifiable and is capable of converting the shipping container to an enclosed trailer quickly with minimal tools. This can be done while providing protection of the primary load.

  • Publication number: 20060155783
Abstract: An embedded unit contains a microprocessor and memory for storing video, audio, photograph, and written digital data pertaining to a monument. The microprocessor, when actuated by a visitor, communicates through a two-way radio transceiver to a visitor carried transceiver. The embedded unit includes a long-life battery and is activated only upon a visitor approaching the marker and momentarily contacting an activation switch or passing an activating dongle adjacent the embedded unit for initiating power to the embedded unit for the transfer of data. A Bluetooth® receiver, such as a cellular phone having Bluetooth® capability, a PDA with Bluetooth®, or other Bluetooth® device, is employed for reading and/or storing information contained in the embedded unit.

  • Publication number: 20060014596
Abstract: A golf ball teeing device includes an outer tube having a handle at one end, a spring-loaded inner tube slidably mounted within the outer tube and having a ball-engaging spring biased tip. A movable trigger is coupled to the inner tube for selectively moving the inner tube from a locked extended position to a retracted position. A concave ball-receiving foot is coupled to the outer tube at an end remote from the handle and positioned in spaced relationship with respect to the tip of the inner tube. When the inner tube is extended, the trigger locks the inner tube to compressibly hold a golf ball and tee between the foot and the tip of the inner tube.

  • Patent number: 5997386
Abstract: An apparatus for abrading or deburring a workpiece is provided and includes in combination a conveyor for moving the workpiece from a first position to a second position and at least two assemblies intermediate the first and second positions and opposite the conveyor for abrading one side of the workpiece in a plurality of directions. In an alternate embodiment of the invention, a third assembly may be provided which deburrs an opposite side of the workpiece as it is passed through the deburring assembly. The conveyor for moving the workpiece positively fixes the location of the workpiece with respect to the conveyor and translates the workpiece through the deburring assembly.
