    Abstract: Systems and methods for improved propped fracture geometry for high permeability reservoirs are provided. In one embodiment, a method of determining a pad volume and proppant volume for fracturing a subterranean formation is provided comprising selecting a proppant volume for placement in a fracture to be created in a subterranean formation; determining a desired fracture geometry for the fracture; calculating a pad volume sufficient to create the desired fracture geometry in the subterranean formation at a lower fluid efficiency value; calculating a fracture length that would result from injecting the pad volume into the subterranean formation at an upper fluid efficiency value; calculating a fracture width that corresponds to the calculated fracture length; and calculating a proppant volume sufficient to fill a fracture having the calculated length and width.

A well screen assembly can include a well treatment substance secured to the well screen assembly, and at least one reactive component of a well treatment stimulant. The reactive component can also be secured to the well screen assembly. A method of treating a well can include expanding a well screen assembly outward in a wellbore of the well, thereby decreasing a distance between a well treatment substance and a wall of the wellbore. Another method of treating a well can include contacting multiple reactive components of a well treatment stimulant with each other in the well, thereby dispersing a well treatment substance about a well screen assembly.

In some embodiments, the consolidating agent emulsion composition may be introduced into at least a portion of a propped fracture that comprises proppant particulates and allowed to at least partially consolidate at least a portion of the propped fracture. In some embodiments, the consolidating agent emulsion composition comprises a resin composition. Additional methods are also provided.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to applying treatment fluid to a rock matrix in a subterranean formation. An injection fluid is received in a wellbore in a subterranean formation. The subterranean formation includes a rock matrix about the wellbore. Shear bands are induced in the rock matrix by communicating the injection fluid from the wellbore into the rock matrix. A chemical treatment fluid is communicated through the shear bands into the matrix. The chemical treatment is conducted from the wellbore primarily by a portion of the rock matrix that forms a wall of the wellbore, primarily by a subset of the shear bands that intersect the wall of the wellbore, or primarily by a combination of them. In some instances, the shear bands may improve uniformity or efficiency of the chemical treatment.
