  • Publication number: 20020103316
Abstract: The invention provides a surface active agent containing fluorine, which is a copolymer composed of several ethylenic unsaturated monomers containing a fluorinated alkyl group, a silicone chain, and a polyoxyalkylene group, and the surface loss energy of which is less than 110×10−5 mJ in an organic solvent. The copolymer of the surface active agent is soluble to water and in various organic solvents, and has a good compatibility with other ingredients used to form the coating compositions. The present surface active agent reduces the dynamic surface tension of the coating composition, and thereby, have a good foam-preventing property, coating compositions containing the present surface active agent yield coated films with uniform and smooth level surfaces without forming irregularity and striation even by coating operations at high speed and high shearing force.

  • Publication number: 20020101328
Abstract: There is provided a magnetoresistance effect element which is capable of causing a large sense current to flow between electrodes and which has a smaller dispersion in direction of magnetization of a CPP element based on a magnetic field due to the sense current and has a lager reproducing output, and a method for producing the same. The magnetoresistance effect element is produced by: after forming a first electrode, forming a magnetoresistance effect film on the first electrode; applying a self-condensing organic resist on the magnetoresistance effect film, and thereafter, causing the organic resist to be droplets; subsequently, forming an insulating film thereon, and thereafter, removing the organic resist to form a groove portion in the insulating film to expose the top surface of the magnetoresistance effect film; and filling the groove portion with an electrode material to form a second electrode.

Abstract: A source driver according to the present invention is comprised of a bias circuit 2 and an output circuit 2. In the output circuit 21, a differential unit 21 amplifies the difference between two input signals received through input terminals. An output unit made up of the transistors, and a capacitor, receives a signal from the differential unit, amplifies it, outputting it to a liquid crystal display (not shown) via a variable-resistance unit with analog switches. A selection circuit causes each of the analog switches to be activated or deactivated. A bias current circuit changes a current flowing through a differential amplification circuit made up of the transistors. A bias current changing circuit changes a bias current flowing through a circuit made up of a transistor. A bias circuit receives an external voltage, exerting a control of the bias current flowing through respective bias current changing circuits.
