The CCM uses the intent data to direct information to more interested audiences and reduce the information noise/overload that may prevent users from viewing information. This targeted information may increase user conversion rates for seminars, advertising, documents downloads, or any other activity associated with published information. In one example, the CCM generates the intent data from third party content. Using a wide variety of third party content enables the CCM to better identify current user interests. The CCM may aggregate the intent data for different demographics, such as for companies, job positions, age, gender, or geographic locations.

Abstract: A system and method for protection against loss of communication of a mobile node crossing a black spot region is disclosed. The system to prevent loss of communication with the mobile node consists of a mobile node, RF coverage map generator, black spot predictor, and a vertical handover process. The mobile node can experience uninterrupted communication across black spots. This is achieved by executing vertical handover before entering a black spot region, which is anticipated by using RF coverage maps and mobility pattern of the mobile node.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a modified drag based wind turbine apparatus, a method of making the wind turbine and a method of using the wind turbine apparatus. The apparatus is based on a modified drag based concept whereby during a complete turn of the rotor, there will be an augmentation of a positive torque and a decrease of a negative torque resulting in double effect enhancement. The disclosed wind turbine can capture more wind kinetic energy than that energy captured by the traditional drag based wind turbines. The wind turbine apparatus comprises of a turbine supporting frame, a turbine rotor, a sail supporting arm, a sail rotational axis along with sail swinging rods, and extendable and/or shrinkable turbine sails. A simple design and construction is made for cost-effectiveness, and has small as well as large scale scalability.

Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus for controlling the timing at a receiving station for the receipt of asynchronous data transmitted with a time-stamp. The received data is passed through a buffer to the remainder of the station. A decoder at the receiving station generates an indication of buffer fill level and a local time-stamp is also generated. The output timing for the buffer is controlled by a circuit which is responsive to both a difference value off, received and locally generated time-stamps and to the fill level indication.

Abstract: The present invention provides for fast packet information transfer from a first type switching system to a diverse, i.e., different, type switching system by adaptation of a format of each fast packet from the first type switching system to a format that is portable across the second type switching system. For example, the present invention enables transport of fast packets from a fast packet switching system across a cell relay system and vice versa, from a fast packet switching system across an asynchronous transfer mode system and vice versa, and so on.
