Abstract: Pictures or Figures can be understood very quickly. The global meaning or the gist of a picture can generally be attained in an easy and rapid way, in as little as 300 ms (Peeck 1993:228). This “gives the illusion of full understanding” and so “students often deal with illustrations in a superficial and inadequate way” (Peeck 1993:228). When textbooks become heavily illustrated, this effect of pictures can distract from learning. The presented invention is based on the simple fact stated as above.

Abstract: Because of the pervasive nature of information and communication technologies and the services that derive from them, coupled with the large prizes to be won, the telecommunications sector is subjected to a lot of attention. In this era, technology has gone to endless limits. Room sized computers are coming into devices that can be taken in a palm, phones are using satellites and have implications more than conversation without using any physical medium and business and daily life has become technology enabled. Mobile phone can be said as gift of technology without any doubts. The presented invention is also related with mobile phones. The invention connects the mobile phone and multimedia and makes the life of people easy. The invention also help TV channels, Telecommunication companies and Advertisement companies to do targeted advertisement according to selected people, selected areas, selected countries and selected regions.

Abstract: A system and method of planning and managing tasks to be worked out by many entities. The each task has task details relevant thereto including entities to whom task will be assigned and auto identification of task controller (The entity assigning these tasks). The auto identification of task assignee can be altered by system administrator or any other user which has been allowed to do so. The task assignee can also set certain criteria to help and judge weather the task has been completed successfully. These criteria may include pre conditions, before conditions, alternative tasks, next tasks and steps that need to be taken after task execution and also the conditions which should be automatically completed after the task has been executed. The system also facilitate the entities to communicate with other peers through instant communication tools such as Instant Messenger and other tools such as Email.

Abstract: People are looking for information because they need answers of their questions. The information seeking need is raised whenever a question is aroused and information seeker does not know the answer of this question or more detailed answer is required. The presented technique reveals a bi-directional classification technique to classify the contents according to for what people are looking exactly i.e. answer for a particular question. Every question is assigned a unique identification number internationally under which all the contents are classified which have answer of this internationally unique question.

Abstract: The presented invention is to make life easy of information seekers. According to research web surfers look only few top results. Every time when user searches, Search Engine display the results according to Rankings. The Ranking is calculated in many ways but Parameters and their values have an important impact not only Rankings but also on search results as well. For example, If user searches for “List of Top IT vendors in Kuwait”, search engine searches and returns back the search results. Let's say user required information is in some document having format like “doc” or “PDF”. In first attempt, the search result pointing to required document may be hidden in thousand of search results but if parameter like “File format” is used, it may be included in user's in Top search results. To do this, there must be some mechanism from where user can easily decide that what parameters and their values may return its required search results. The presented invention is all this.

Abstract: The presented invention is related particularly with to minimize and even further to block software piracy problems. The invention presented here can work for internet and traditional networking environments as well. The apparatus comprises a server program and client program. The server may be on LAN, WAN, Web or at some remote location. The client program is small program that needs to be embedded in the software that needs to be protected from illegal copies or the software that wants to use the invented process. The client program communicates with server program and receives response from the server. Depending upon the server clients performs certain actions such as allowed to install or to halt the installation. The invention architecture is based on TCP/IP based modeling. I.e. Server acts as TCP server and clients act as TCP clients in order to communicate effectively and reliably. Whenever the process begins, it is added as client on TCP server.

Abstract: The present invention relates particularly to customize and create textbooks/e-books dynamically. The different parts of textbooks which need to be replaced are taken into data repository. The alternative parts which can be used in place of customizable locations of a textbook are also stored in repository. These parts and alternative parts may be in any language and in any length even a small word or character or picture can also be placed in customizable part and alternative part. These alternative parts are tagged with conditions or criteria under which these parts can replace the identified customizable parts of text book. The process takes the replacement criteria and replaces these customizable parts with alternative parts by comparing the tagged criteria with each alternative part with inputted replacement criteria.

Abstract: The presented invention relates particularly with getting media channels schedules in form of database. The database is filled initially with entries comprising program schedules from different sources. The database can be fed with values directly from broad casting stations, some web site or through some external source. After filling the scheduling database, this database can be used for multiple purposes. With each entry of database a specific action can be associated. The database is customizable and can be searched from different angles and different views. A fully functional timer is then associated with database in order to invoke certain actions associated with each entry of database.

Abstract: The process of text generation/creation is automated. The text to be processed is used as seed for the text generation process. The text to be processed can be in any language and can be passed to text generation process through any internal/external application or process, through speech technology or through manual entry. At the first step, word(s) are extracted from the text. Each word is considered as seed and this seed is grown up into different word(s)/sentence(s) lists according to the selected criteria. The generated lists are then processed and combined/jointed through a simple mechanism to generate text. This generated text then can be saved, analyzed, filtered or searched on the internet, intranet, extranet, in database(s) or in user defined data repositories again according to the criteria selected by the user or by some external application or process.
