    Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced peer-to-peer (P2P) communications. A device may identify an Enabling Parameter signal received from an Access Point (AP). The device may determine if the Enabling Parameter signal surpasses a first threshold. The device may activate a P2P communication with a second device when the Enabling Parameter signal surpasses the first threshold. The device may deactivate the P2P communication if the Enabling Parameter signal descends below a second threshold, wherein the second threshold is a threshold lower than the first threshold or the second threshold is equal to the first threshold minus a delta value.

A NAN device may generate a first NAN frame including a first indication of a NAN operation capability, and a second indication of a transmit power of the NAN device. The NAN device may send the first NAN frame and may identify a second NAN frame received from a second NAN device, the second NAN frame including a third indication of the NAN operation capability, and a fourth indication of a transmit power of the second NAN device. The NAN device may determine, based on the transmit power of the NAN device and the transmit power of the second NAN device, an operation parameter for the 6 GHz frequency band. The NAN device may establish, based on the operation parameter, a NAN connection using the 6 GHz frequency band.

The signal power of the C2C enabling signal received from the AP is determined. Bluetooth (BT) circuitry of the apparatus is configured for BT communication with a wireless device at the LPI signal power level when the signal power of the C2C enabling signal is above a signal power threshold. The BT circuitry is configured to perform a handshake exchange with the wireless device to initiate the BT communication at the LPI signal power level.
