The method includes Identifying a lead by performing a semantic analysis of a data item disseminated by the lead via the web-enabled medium including by applying a taxonomy generated in accordance with a predefined topic to determine that the data item is related to the topic. The method then scores the data item in relation to the topic based upon a lead scoring process including by an analysis of additional historical data items disseminated by the lead.
