  • Patent number: 9315271
Abstract: A lower leg restraint for a side-facing passenger seat including a restraint panel configured to deploy from a first position proximate a seat to a second position forward of the seat in response to an abrupt deceleration event, an actuator arranged to push the panel from the first position to the second position, and a sensor and trigger assembly configured to signal the actuator to fire in response to the abrupt deceleration event. A side-facing aircraft passenger seat having a deployable lower leg restraint.

  • Publication number: 20110156507
Abstract: A hub motor is provided. The hub motor includes a shaft, a casing, a first bimetal, and a second bimetal. The casing has an inner wall, a first through hole, and a second through hole. The first through hole and the second through hole are disposed on the inner wall. The first bimetal and the second bimetal are disposed on the inner wall. A first end of the first bimetal, after being heated, warps and exposes the first through hole. A second end of the second bimetal, after being heated, warps and exposes the second through hole. The first end faces substantially the same direction as the rotating direction of the casing. The second end faces substantially the reverse direction of the rotating direction of the casing.

  • Publication number: 20110142730
Abstract: In a crystalline silicon formation apparatus, a quick cooling method is applied to the bottom of a crucible to control a growth orientation of a polycrystalline silicon grain, such that the crystal grain forms twin boundary, and the twin boundary is a symmetric grain boundary, and the crystal grain is solidified and grown upward in unidirection to form a complete polycrystalline silicon, such that defects or impurities will not form in the polycrystalline silicon easily.

  • Patent number: 6051320
Abstract: A thin walled natural rubber latex material is disclosed suitable for forming thin walled products including gloves, dental dams and shields, catheter tubing, penrose surgical drains, finger cots, coverings for body parts, and the like. The thin walled material is formed from a latex emulsion containing natural rubber, sulphur-free, oxygen-donating curing agents, and a strength enhancing agent which may be an inorganic substance such as fumed silica and/or an organic substance such as monomers and polymers of families of acrylics and esters. The emulsion also preferably includes microcrystaline wax as an oxygen barrier, and the material is also provided with a heat resistant and water resistant coating which blocks transfer of latex proteins from the material and enhances slip of the material.
