  • Patent number: 5685788
Abstract: A ball practice device includes: a base member having a plurality of branch leg members branched from the base member, a plurality of cushioning pads each cushioning pad which may be a sandbag worn or secured on an end portion of each branch leg member of the base member, a telescopic post erected on a central portion of the base member, and a ball secured to the telescopic post by a connector, whereby upon batting or striking of the ball, the vibractional shock caused by the impact force for batting the ball will be dampened or depressed by the plurality of the cushioning pads for absorbing shock for preventing injury to the ball practice player.

  • Patent number: 5381590
Abstract: A cushioning device for a car safety belt comprises a female seat body and an insertion plate body. The female seat body has a receiving space, an insertion slot and two arresting portions. The insertion plate body has a coupling portion, a combination portion, and two serrated sides. The insertion plate body engages the female seat body such that the coupling portion passes through and beyond the insertion slot of the female seat body, and that the first tooth of the serrated sides engages the arresting portion of the female seat body. The serrated sides are ruptured by the arresting portions at the time when a thrust of inertia exerting on the safety belt exceeds the destruction strength of the serrated sides, so as to cause the coupling portion to move further out of the insertion slot in order to lengthen intermittently the strap buckling across the chest of a car occupant, thus absorbing the kinetic energy of the occupant.

  • Patent number: 5002321
Abstract: A door lock includes a lock body mounted in a door having a main latch operatively extended outwardly to be locked into a locking socket of a door frame and a biasing plate pivotally formed in an outer portion of the lock body and the door of which the biasing plate is normally resiliently biased clockwise as restored by a restoring spring to extend the plate outwardly to allow a protrusion formed on the plate for engaging a recess formed in the main latch for locking the main latch at its retraction state when opening the door, whereby upon a pushing of the door to allow the door frame to first depress the biasing plate inwardly with a lighter force to disengage the protrusion of the biasing plate from the recess of the main latch, the main latch will be extended as urged by its own main restoring spring to completely close the door on the door frame.

  • Patent number: 4756051
Abstract: A door-closer hinge includes a first flap secured to a door, a second flap secured to a door frame, and an automatic closer as restored by a restoring spring and having a longitudinal casing secured to the second flap, in which a rotor vane fixed on a rotor having a needle passage formed in the rotor is operatively rotated with respect to a cylinder vane fixed inside a cylinder which is filled with a hydraulic oil and disposed around the rotor to thereby form a rotary-movement shock absorber for quickly opening a door when the oil is rotatably driven to contract the two vanes for quick flow of oil to the left, or for slowly closing the door when the oil is slowly returned to the right to expand the two vanes to allow oil flow merely through the smaller needle passage in the rotor.
