  • Patent number: 11979055
Abstract: A vehicle power supply system includes: a main power supply system provided with a main low-voltage power supply; and a backup power supply system provided with a backup low-voltage power supply. The backup power supply system includes a backup power supply controller. When the vehicle power supply system is turned off and a state of the vehicle satisfies a predetermined condition, the backup power supply controller executes a backup low-voltage power supply state estimation processing of estimating whether the backup low-voltage power supply is in a state in which the backup low-voltage power supply is able to supply electric power for operating the emergency important load.

  • Patent number: 11628744
Abstract: A vehicle control device includes a main control device, a sub-control device, and a temperature detection unit. The main control device includes a recognition unit that recognizes a peripheral situation of a vehicle, a driving control unit that controls steering and acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle independently from an operation of a driver, and a mode determination unit that determines a driving mode of the vehicle. The sub-control device is capable of controlling the vehicle in place of the main control device. The temperature detection unit detects a temperature of a second battery that is different from a first battery supplying power to the main control device and supplies power to the sub-control device. The mode determination unit changes the driving mode of the vehicle from the second driving mode to the first driving mode when a temperature of the second battery is lower than a predetermined temperature.

  • Patent number: 11614736
Abstract: An automatic driving executability determination unit restricts automatic driving when a charge amount determination unit (third determination unit) determines that a battery is in a low capacity state, and decides whether to restrict the automatic driving according to a determination result of a discharge performance determination unit (first determination unit) when a temperature determination unit (second determination unit) determines that the battery is in the low capacity state but a charge amount determination unit determines that the battery is not in the low capacity state.
