  • Patent number: 5154647
Abstract: An electrical junction block for an automobile which can be used in an atmosphere at temperatures equal to or higher than 70.degree. C. and in which metal bus bars formed in preset circuit patterns are used as a wiring connection inside a case body. The case body of the electrical junction block is molded by using a nylon polymer alloy. A method for manufacturing an electrical junction block for automobiles. The electrical junction block having upper and lower case bodies which are engaged with each other. The upper and lower case bodies are molded by using a nylon polymer alloy, and functional parts are mounted without incurring a moisture absorbing process.

  • Patent number: 4226687
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electric wire or cable having an improved rubber or plastic insulation layer which has the maximum wall thickness of beam penetration of 4mm or over and whose properties are improved by irradiation with an electron beam, wherein the wire or cable runs under the scanner of an electron beam accelerator while being rotated about the axis of the wire or cable at such a speed as causes the same portion of the wire or cable to be irradiated with the electron beam at least twice during a period of less than 10 seconds; and the electron beam accelerator directs on the insulation layer of the wire or cable an electron beam which is accelerated to an energy of 1 MeV or over and whose maximum penetration range in the said insulation layer is larger than its thickness.

  • Patent number: 4134812
Abstract: A method of manufacturing shaped articles of cross-linked poly-.alpha.-olefin composition by irradiation of electron beam which comprises the steps of blending a poly-.alpha.-olefin with a compound miscible therewith which is expressed by the general formula:X--Ym(where X is a group free from acetylenic linkage, Y is a group containing acetylenic linkage and m is an integer of 1 or over) and tetrakis-[methylene-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxy-hydrocinnamate)]-methane; molding the blended mass into a desired shape; and cross-linking said shaped articles by irradiation of electron beam.
