  • Patent number: 4080547
Abstract: The optical system of a pickup tube is comprised by an optical low pass filter, a light transmissive substrate formed with a black mask and a color compensating filter, and another light transmissive substrate formed with a photoconductive film at a predetermined position of one surface, which are bonded together into an integral structure. The optical system is mounted on the light receiving end of the pickup tube. When compared with a conventional construction wherein the component elements of the optical system are independently and separately mounted the loss of the incident light due to reflections at the interfaces of respective elements can be reduced.
