  • Publication number: 20050250392
Abstract: A system comprises a first data carrier (MOD) and a second data carrier (CDC). The first data carrier (MOD) is inserted in the second data carrier (CDC). The system is characterized in that, the first data carrier (MOD) is removable from the second data carrier (CDC), in that the first data carrier (MOD) is readable by a first reading machine, and in that the second data carrier (CDC) is readable by a second reading machine, which is different than the first reading machine.

  • Patent number: 6745945
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for producing a portable object having a card format and comprising:—an object body including a plastic support sheet (12), a plastic incorporation sheet (18), and a first (19) and second (20) external covering sheet; an antenna (11) provided with two antenna terminals (13); and an integrated circuit chip (14) incorporated in an incorporation sheet (18) and electrically connected to the antenna. The method of the invention is characterised in that it comprises stages according to which: the support sheet (12) on which the chip (14) has been mounted with the incorporation sheet (18) so as to obtain a first rolled unit; and in a subsequent stage the first rolled unit is covered with the first (19) and second (20) external covering sheets. The invention can be applied in particular to the production of contactless cards by means of hot rolling.

  • Patent number: 6592042
Abstract: A method for decorating and personalizing a card by printing a decorative element and personalizing data on one surface of the card body. The surface is then coated with a protective layer, and an integrated circuit is implanted in the card body. The personalizing data of the card body is identified and written into the integrated circuit storage zone data corresponding to the personalizing data of the card body.
