Patent number: 11167500Abstract: A mold that abuts an innerliner against a mold surface of a mouthpiece comprises two molds, an upper mold and a lower mold. The upper mold comprises a heating portion that heats an outer abutting surface that abuts the cylinder portion of the innerliner against the first annular surface of the mouthpiece and comprises an upper mold side positioning cylindrical surface; and the lower mold comprises an inner abutting surface that abuts a section of a dome portion near the cylinder portion against a second annular surface of the mouthpiece and comprises a lower mold side positioning cylindrical surface that is capable of engaging with the upper mold side positioning cylindrical surface. The section that comprises the lower mold side positioning cylindrical surface is formed of a material with a lower thermal conductivity than that of the upper mold.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 2017Date of Patent: November 9, 2021Inventors: Hayato Kato, Takahiro Ozawa

Patent number: 11155020Abstract: A device for attaching a mouthpiece to an innerliner of an aircraft water tank is provided. A cylinder portion of an innerliner is thermally deformed to conform to an inner circumferential portion of a cylinder-like portion, and an inner circumferential portion of a dome portion of the innerliner is attached to a skirt portion by an adhesive. A lower mold includes two sections inserted inside the innerliner from the inner side of a mouthpiece in a folded state. The two sections are opened inside the innerliner and a holding member holds the two sections in an open state. The lower mold can be disposed in the innerliner sealed from the inner side of the mouthpiece, and abutment of an outer abutting surface of an upper mold against a first annular surface and abutment of an inner abutting surface of the lower mold against a second annular surface can be performed.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 2017Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Inventors: Hayato Kato, Takahiro Ozawa

Publication number: 20210283684Abstract: A mold includes a pair of first mold parts, a pair of second mold parts, and a pair of third mold parts that define six surfaces of a molding space substantially having a rectangular parallelepiped shape. At least one of the pair of third mold parts includes an upper mold part and a lower mold part. The upper mold part defines an upper space of the molding space, and the lower mold part defines a lower space of the molding space. The upper mold part and the lower mold part are individually slidable. The lower mold part is configured to protrude toward the molding space with respect to the upper mold part so that a step portion is formed. The upper mold part is configured to be slidable relative to the lower mold part to make a size of the step portion decrease. The upper mold part and the lower mold part are configured to be integrally slidable in a state that the step portion remains or is absent.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2021Publication date: September 16, 2021Inventors: TORU TANAKA, TAKASHI SATO, HAYATO KATO, KAZUHITO ODANE

Patent number: 11105471Abstract: Provided is an aircraft water tank with a lid joined to an opening portion via internal threads and external threads. An O-ring is compressed so that the opening portion is liquid-tightly sealed, which forms a sealed water storage space in a tank body. The portion of the lid that compresses the O-ring is a corner portion formed by an end surface of an annular plate portion and an outer peripheral surface of a tube portion. The portion of an inner liner that compresses the O-ring is a portion of the inner liner attached to an inclined surface. An end portion of the inner liner attached to the surface of a bulging portion is located outside the water storage space.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2016Date of Patent: August 31, 2021Inventors: Yuji Taguchi, Takahiro Ozawa, Hayato Kato

Patent number: 11067227Abstract: An aircraft water tank includes a conical surface of a skirt portion and a conical surface of an inner liner attached together using an adhesive, with an identical adhesive used in forming a fiber-reinforced resin layer on the inner liner via a filament winding method. When attaching with the adhesive, the adhesive is expelled at the outer circumferential edge of the skirt portion from between the conical surface of the skirt portion and the conical surface of the inner liner. Reinforcement fibers are applied on top of the protruding adhesive, and the adhesive impregnates into the reinforcement fibers. The protruding adhesive and the reinforcement fibers form a reinforcing member which connects a uniform stress surface of the skirt portion to a uniform stress surface of the inner liner located radially outward of the skirt portion.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2017Date of Patent: July 20, 2021Inventors: Hayato Kato, Takahiro Ozawa
