  • Publication number: 20100248515
Abstract: A connector has a first contact and first signal contacts, and a second contact and second signal contacts arrayed at a different height. All the contacts have connection portions arranged at the same height position. The connection portion of the first contact is located between the connection portions of the second signal contacts and the connection portion of the second contact is located between the connection portions of the first signal contacts. A distance B is larger than a distance A. The distance A is a distance between the connection portion of the first signal contact and the connection portion of the second contact and also a distance between the connection portion of the second signal contact and the connection portion of the first contact. The distance B is a distance between the connecting portion of the first signal contact and an adjacent connection portion of the second signal contact.

  • Patent number: 7789678
Abstract: A plurality of contacts are assembled at prescribed spacings in a longitudinal direction of a receptacle body. Each contact has a meandering curved part in the intermediate portion for elastically contacting the corresponding contact. A ground member extending in a longitudinal direction of the receptacle body and passes through the inner area of the respective meandering curved parts of the contacts is combined with the receptacle body. The ground member is arranged at a position equally distant from the respective parts of the meandering curved part.

  • Patent number: 7780359
Abstract: The present invention provides a longer optical transmission line in an photoelectric flexible wiring board to downsize the photoelectric flexible wiring board and obtaining high flexibility and good optical transmission characteristics. In an photoelectric flexible wiring board 30, photonic devices 45 and 55 performing photoelectric conversion and drivers 60 and 70 therefor are excluded. The photonic devices 45 and 55 are mounted in connectors 40 and 50 for connecting the photoelectric flexible wiring board 30 to mounting boards 12 and 22. The drivers 60 and 70 are mounted on the mounting boards 12 and 22 together with the connectors 40 and 50.

  • Publication number: 20100203768
Abstract: A connector according to the invention includes an insulative body, and a first contact and a second contact that are disposed in the body at different height levels from each other, the first contact or the second contact being elastically deformable. The first contact includes an mismatched portion having an higher impedance than that of another portion of the first contact. The second contact includes an adjusting portion to be brought close to the mismatched portion by elastic deformation of the first contact or the second contact in a direction close to the second contact or the first contact.

  • Publication number: 20100167568
Abstract: According to the present invention, a multipolar connector 1 has a housing 2 made of an insulating material, and a plurality of terminals P1 to P6 which are held by the housing 2. The plurality of terminals P1 to P6 include: a terminal pair P3, P4 in which two terminals P3, P4 that are adjacent to each other while disposing a first gap A are paired; and one non-paired terminal P2 or P5 which is adjacent to the terminal pair P3, P4 while disposing a second gap B. The terminal pair P3, P4 is a pair for transmitting differential signals. The first gap A is narrower than the second gap B.

  • Publication number: 20100124390
Abstract: The invention provides a high frequency circuit module according to the present invention includes: a circuit component having a plurality of terminals arranged on an outer side thereof, and a circuit board of a multilayered construction or a single-layered construction. A first outer face of the circuit board serves as a component mounting face for mounting the circuit component. The circuit board includes a ground conductor layer; a plurality of electrode pads provided on the component mounting face, the electrode pads being configured for connection with the associated terminals of the circuit component; and a plurality of waveguides provided on the first outer face or a second outer face, or in an inner portion of the circuit board. The waveguides are electrically connected with the associated electrode pads. Routing directions of all or some of adjacent waveguides are opposite from each other.

  • Patent number: 7682182
Abstract: An electric connector includes an insulative housing of such a shape as to be engageable on a front side thereof with a mating connector, a contact group including a plurality of contacts, a shield cover for surrounding outer surfaces of the housing, and a metal shield plate for impedance matching. The contacts are arranged in a widthwise direction of the connector so as to correspond to contacts of the mating connector. Proximal ends of the contacts are held and fixed in terminal insertion holes formed in the housing and leading ends of the contacts being exposed from the terminal insertion holes. The metal shield plate has a width thereof corresponding to a lateral length of the contact group and is disposed between the shield cover and the contact group and facing the contact group.

  • Patent number: 7670199
Abstract: An electric connector includes an insulative body and groups of contacts. The contacts are disposed in spaced relationship inside the body and arranged in at least two rows in a lateral direction of the body. The groups of contacts include a plurality of first contacts; and a plurality of second contacts located in a different row from a row where their associated first contacts exist, the second contacts being arranged next to the first contacts. Out of one of the first contacts and one of the second contacts subject to impedance tuning, one of these two contacts has a width and an area thereof adjusted in accordance with a difference in impedance from impedances between other first and second contacts.
