  • Publication number: 20170345244
Abstract: A paper sheet handling apparatus has a pickup roller, a stage, a pressure sensor, and a measuring unit. For each feeding process, in which the pickup roller feeds paper sheets until the pressure detected by the pressure sensor becomes less than a predetermined set value, the stage presses paper sheets against the pickup roller until the pressure detected by the pressure sensor reaches another set value. The pickup roller operates at a feeding speed of a first speed if a calculated feeding value is less than a threshold, and operates at a feeding speed of a second speed that is slower than the first speed if the calculated feeding value is equal to or greater than the threshold, the calculated feeding value being calculated based on: the amount of movement of the stage measured by the measuring unit; and the number of paper sheets fed by the feeding process.

  • Patent number: 8596444
Abstract: In a paper bill depositing/dispensing apparatus, when a roof plate and a stage plate move from a depositing/dispensing unit to a temporarily accumulating unit along with a deposited bill, rotations of a pick roller, a separator, a feed roller and a conveyance roller are driven to carry a bill to a conveyance path that connects to a bill storing unit, and a partial paddle wheel stops by orientating its round surface, not provided with paddles, toward a path of the carried bill. When a bill is dispensed, the separator, the feed roller and the conveyance roller rotate in a bill carry-in direction to carry the bill conveyed from the conveyance path in the temporarily accumulating unit, and the partial paddle wheel beats a rear end of the carried bill with paddles to align the rear end of the bill at a bottom position d.

  • Patent number: 8505910
Abstract: Large-diameter entry rollers, and small-diameter entry rollers pressing against the large-diameter entry rollers via a conveyance belt enter a paper sheet in an accumulation part via an entrance slot. A central upper guide member makes contact with an upper surface of a central portion of the banknote. Both sides lower guide members guide the banknote while causing the banknote to curve in the shape of large U in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the banknote by lifting up both ends of the banknote entered in the accumulation part with the use of an upwardly curved tip. The front end of the banknote does not hang down despite being beaten by vanes, and the banknote goes between the vanes. The banknote is rotationally conveyed, hits the stoppers to stop, is disengaged from a swirling vane wheel, and is accumulated.

  • Patent number: 7416182
Abstract: The present inventions are a paper skew correcting device and a bill depositing/dispensing apparatus. The paper skew correcting device comprises first and second driving rollers 21 and 22 disposed on the left and right sides of a conveying route for paper 2 and first and second driven rollers 23 and 24 with narrow contact faces placed opposite to the first and second driving rollers 21 and 22 via the conveying route. The second driving roller 22 is formed in a tapered roller with a tapered outer peripheral surface and its rotation shaft 22a is provided aslant so that the contact part of the tapered roller is almost parallel with the conveying route. The second driven roller 24, corresponding to the second driving roller 22, is laterally moved according to the skew angle of the conveyed paper 2 so as to change its contact position with the second driving roller 22 so that the feeding speed of the right side of the paper 2 can be accelerated or decelerated to correct the skew paper.

  • Patent number: 7319978
Abstract: The present invention relates to a Net shopping method for performing Net shopping through the Internet with a portable terminal. The user freely makes product selections (Net shopping) at any time and place using a portable terminal 2. When the user proposes to conduct a transaction, transaction proposal information, payee information, and the amount of money are automatically sent from the Net shopping site to the portable terminal 2 and stored in the internal memory 22. Next, the user takes the portable terminal 2 to the automatic payment transfer device 4, connects the portable terminal to the payment transfer device 4, and transfers the internal data to the payment transfer device 4. The user can perform payment transfer operations with the payment transfer device 4 based on the order acceptance data. Thus the payment transfer process can be performed safely and with a simple operation.

  • Patent number: 7191937
Abstract: A sensor for executing simple discrimination is provided on a transfer path immediately after a cash inlet of a cash depository. The sensor detects a position of a bill in a transfer direction, a width of the bill in a direction orthogonal to the transfer direction, thereby outputting detection results to a controller. The controller calculates a degree of a slant of the bill and the width of the bill, thereby determining whether or not those values are in excess of reference values. If the controller determines that the degree of the slant and the width of the bill are in excess of the reference values, the transfer direction of the transfer path is changed over to coincide with a direction opposite to a normal direction by reverse-rotating a motor.

  • Publication number: 20070007707
Abstract: An inserted bundle of paper currency is carried while being clamped by moving the clamp toward a carrying belt. The clamp is moved by transmitting a power to two arms. The power transmitted to one arm is further transmitted to the other arm through a link. The link is provided with a plurality of slits and a plurality of sensors for detecting the slits are provided. A decision is made whether the height of a pressed bundle of paper currency is acceptable or not by utilizing a variation in positional relation between the slit and the sensor incident to movement of the clamp.

  • Publication number: 20050139447
Abstract: Papers that are put in a depositing section are fed and conveyed one by one, and discriminated. Some of the papers that are judged by the discrimination as papers that are not objects to be handled, namely, as counterfeit papers are collected and stored within an exclusive storage housing. Furthermore, data such as images of the counterfeit papers, the contents printed on the counterfeit papers, and date and time are stored.

  • Patent number: 6789682
Abstract: A paper processing apparatus feeds papers one by one from the first cassette for storing papers to be delivered to the outside, conveys the fed papers on the first conveyance path to store them in a predetermined temporary storing section, and then delivers the stored papers in a block through a paper delivery aperture to the outside. Also, the paper processing apparatus leads papers having difficulties with delivery after being fed from the first cassette, to the second conveyance path which is a divergent path of the first conveyance path, and stores the led papers in the second cassette. The paper processing apparatus further comprises the third conveyance path for receiving papers coming from the outside and transmitting them to the first conveyance path.
