  • Patent number: 11560897
Abstract: A suction port and a blow-out port are formed in a casing. A fan is provided in the casing. Under a test condition that a blower is provided in such a way that a reference position of the blow-out port is a position that is separated by 2000 mm upward from a floor, an airflow adjusting mechanism adjusts, in a wide mode, a flow of air blown out from the blow-out port so that an average airflow speed in a first range and an average airflow speed in a second range are approximately equal to each other and so that a ratio of an average airflow speed in a third range to the average airflow speed in the first range is less than 1.5.

  • Patent number: 11493231
Abstract: An air-conditioner indoor unit (10) is configured to be capable of changing the direction of an airflow that is blown out through a blow-out port (15). The air-conditioner indoor unit (10) includes a control unit (40) that switches between a normal mode and a wide mode. The control unit (40) switches to the wide mode when an air conditioning load is higher than a predetermined value and extends at least vertically a range that is to be reached by the airflow in an air-conditioning target space in the wide mode compared with the normal mode.

  • Publication number: 20220214061
Abstract: An air conditioner includes a control unit that controls an air conditioning operation and controls a maintenance operation to perform maintenance on an indoor unit after the air conditioning operation is stopped, and an operation unit provided for performing a stop operation to stop the maintenance operation. The maintenance operation includes an irradiating operation to irradiate an irradiation area of the indoor unit with ultraviolet rays, and the control unit controls the irradiating operation to continue the irradiating operation even when the stop operation is performed by the operation unit.

The air-conditioner indoor unit includes a control unit that switches between a normal mode and a wide mode. The control unit extends at least vertically a range that is to be reached by the airflow in an air-conditioning target space in the wide mode compared with the normal mode and causes the air conditioning capacity of the wide mode to be lower than the air conditioning capacity of the normal mode.

  • Patent number: 10168088
Abstract: An air conditioning device includes a main refrigerant circuit and a discharge-intake bypass circuit. The refrigerant circuit is operable in a heating mode and a positive cycle defrosting mode. It is possible for refrigerant to bypass from a discharge side to an intake side of the compressor when the refrigerant circuit is operating in the heating mode. The refrigerant circuit is operable in a positive cycle defrosting mode. When the refrigerant circuit is operating in the positive cycle defrosting mode, a superheat valve of the discharge-intake bypass circuit is opened and the refrigerant is caused to bypass from the discharge side to the intake side of the compressor through the bypass circuit and a defrosting-mode main valve high-pressure control is performed to adjust a valve opening of a main valve so that a high pressure level of a refrigerating cycle in the refrigerant circuit reaches a target high pressure.
