  • Patent number: 9862001
Abstract: A dispensing device includes a drive unit, a detector and a controller. The drive unit is configured to operate a material dispenser. The detector is configured to detect a velocity of the material sensor. The controller is programmed to maintain the material dispenser at a constant velocity based on the velocity detected by the detector.

  • Publication number: 20170266858
Abstract: A method is disclosed for producing an apparatus for dispensing a medium. The apparatus includes a cartridge in which a piston is movably receivable. The cartridge includes a cartridge body and a cartridge cover together forming a cartridge housing. The method includes providing a first part in a mold of a molding device, the first part being chosen from at least one of the following parts: cartridge body; piston; cartridge cover. Subsequently, a second part different from the first part is molded in the mold of the molding device, the first part constituting a part of the mold for the second part.

  • Publication number: 20170225189
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a medium includes a cartridge in which a piston is movably receivable. An outlet is arranged in an outlet face of the cartridge for conveying the medium into a storage chamber of the cartridge. The piston includes a conveying side, a drive side disposed opposite the conveying side and at least one seal arranged at a side wall of the piston for providing a fluid-tight sealing between the piston and an inner cartridge wall. The cartridge includes a protrusion or a recess. The protrusion or the recess and the piston are arranged such that they can engage in such a way that, when the piston is arranged in a filling position, substantially no gas can be trapped between the outlet face, the conveying side of the piston and the seal facing the outlet face.

  • Publication number: 20170216874
Abstract: A cartridge has a reception chamber extending in a longitudinal direction for a medium to be dispensed. The cartridge has a head part and a cartridge wall which bound the reception chamber, the head part having an outlet for the medium. The cartridge wall is at least regionally a film and the head part is a stable-shape part. The head part is sealingly and in particular unreleasably connected to the cartridge wall and the cartridge is a collapsible cartridge. The cartridge can be converted from an expanded state in which the reception chamber has a maximum volume into a collapsed state in which the reception chamber has a minimal volume. The cartridge not yet filled with medium is in a collapsed state. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing such a cartridge is described.

  • Publication number: 20110146836
Abstract: A system comprises a piston setting device and a cartridge comprising a piston and a cartridge chamber which can be filled by a filling mass. The cartridge chamber further comprises a closeable outlet opening for the discharge of the filling mass whereby the filling mass is storable in said cartridge chamber when the outlet opening is closed and the piston is inserted into the cartridge chamber. The piston comprises a first piston part which rests in sealed manner against the cartridge wall and a second piston part, which forms venting valve comprising a valve plug together with the first piston part, wherein said valve plug opens when a pressure is exerted on the side of the piston opposite to the filling mass by a piston setting device.
