Abstract: An electronic device includes a body, a key switch and a limiting mechanism secured to the body. The body includes a top wall defining an aperture. The key switch includes a touch switch, an actuating member for actuating the touch switch when being pressed, and a key cap received in the aperture and abutting the actuating member. The limiting mechanism corresponds to the aperture. When the key cap is pressed, the actuating member is driven to actuate the touch switch, and the limiting mechanism limits the movement of the key cap to protect the touch switch from damages.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing, a signal receiving unit receiving in the housing, and a detector window secured to the housing and corresponding to the signal receiving unit. The housing includes a top case having a front sidewall and a bottom case having a front side portion corresponding to the front sidewall. The front sidewall defines an opening for receiving a detecting window. Two limiting members receive the first end of the detector window and a holding member holds the second end of the detector window. When the top case covers the bottom case, the holding member engages with the limiting members to secure the detector window to the housing. A housing of an electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: A sliding switch for fastening a first object to a second object includes a base, an operating member, and a cooperating member. The operating member is connected to one side of the base. The cooperating member is connected to the other side of the base. The cooperating member defines a gap and projects a grasping member, the grasping member capable of holding the second object. The gap enables the operating member located at the inside of the first object when the sliding switch is located at a first position with respect to the first object. The sliding switch can move to the second position with respect to the first object to enable the operating member to pass out of a slot defined in the second object located at the exterior of the first object. The first position is different from the second position.

Abstract: A fixing module used for connecting a first housing to a second housing, includes a first connecting member, a second connecting member, and a fixing member. The first connecting member extends from the inner side of the first housing towards the second housing. The second connecting member extends from the inner side of the second housing towards the first housing, and opposite to the first connecting member. The fixing member is engaged with the first connecting member and the second member, for connecting the first housing to the second housing. A housing with the fixing module is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus (10) includes a main body (30), a lid (20) pivotably connected with a side of the main body, a magnetic detecting unit (40) and a magnetic shield member (28). The detecting unit includes a magnetic body (42) mounted on one of the main body or the lid and a magnetic detector (44) mounted on the other one of the main body or the lid, respectively. The magnetic body has a facing side (421) to face the magnetic detector. The magnetic detector detects a position of the lid according to a magnetic field intensity of the magnetic body. The magnetic shield member is disposed at a distance from the facing side and adjacent to a second side (422) of the magnetic body, to prevent the magnetic field from extending in the direction of the second side of the magnetic body.

The locking mechanism includes a sliding bar slidable relative to the body, and at least one resisting member secured to the body. The sliding bar is slidable between a locking position for locking the disc lid and an unlocking position for unlocking the disc lid. The sliding bar defines at least one sliding slot, and includes two latching members for respectively hooking the hooks when in the locked position and releasing the hooks when in the unlocked position. The at least one resisting member is slidably received in the sliding slot, and resists the sliding bar against the body to prevent the sliding bar from deforming.

Abstract: A hinge mechanism for securing to the body of an electronic device. The hinge mechanism includes a fixing plate. A holding member and two latching members project from the base of the electronic device. An end of the holding member opposite to the base bends toward the at least one latching member to form a latching portion. Each latching member includes a connecting portion projecting from the base, a supporting portion bending from an end of the connecting portion opposite to the base, and a hook arranged at a side of the supporting portion opposite to the connecting portion. The holding member cooperates with the supporting portion to define a clearance for holding the fixing plate, the hooks cooperate with the holding member to secure the fixing plate to the body.
