    Abstract: A belt and free end securing system includes a belt that has a buckle end, a free end and a buckle attached to the buckle end. The buckle releasably secures the belt in a closed loop such that the free end hangs freely from the closed loop. A retention assembly is removably positioned on the belt and retains the free end against an outer surface of the belt. A weight is coupled to the retention assembly.
