Abstract: A device for preventing drain blockage can include a planar base and an upright vane support rotatably supported on the base. The vane support includes a plurality of curved vanes mounted in a radial configuration thereon. The base includes a plurality of raised portions on an upper surface thereof and a cylindrical flange extending downwardly from a bottom surface thereof. The flange can frictionally engage the inner walls of a drain pipe for draining water from the device. A base insert is housed within a circular recess of the base and rotatably supports the vane support. The vanes each include a lower edge in close proximity to the top surface of the base. When wind, rain, or debris strikes the curved vanes, the vane support rotates, and the lower edges of the vanes sweep away any debris accumulating on the base.

Abstract: A card game and method for playing a card game are provided for a plurality of players. A pre-determined number of cards are included in the card deck. A preset number of cards from the card deck are dealt to each player. Each card has a face with a variety of characters, written instructions, numeric fractional values, shapes, mathematical symbols, special characters, or lines. In embodiments of the card game, a designated winning word is spelled or a designated number of matching cards are obtained, with consideration to the operation instructions of a number of cards that can alter the arrangement of the cards in a player's hand or can alter the order of play of the card game. Once a current designated player obtains the designated word or the designated number of matching cards and has a winning combination of cards, that player wins and the game is over.

Abstract: A card game and methods for playing a card game are provided played by a plurality of players. A pre-determined number of cards are included in the card deck of the card game. Upon a determination of a dealer, a preset number of cards from the card deck are dealt to each player. Each card has a face with a number, picture/icon, special character, or combination number with picture/icon. An object of embodiments of the card game is to gain a pre-determined total of points, a designated winning sum, based on the numeric value of cards of a player with consideration to the operations and/or instructions of non-numeric cards that will adjust the numeric value of a player's cards. Once one player obtains the pre-determined total of points corresponding to the designated winning sum and has a winning combination of cards, that player wins and the game is over.
