The coercion security system can be configured to capture and analyze verbal communication proximate to the secure end-user device to address coercion of the authorized user by a nefarious actor to access the secure computer system and/or the secure end-user device. Without coercion of the authorized user, the nefarious actor can be unable to access the secure end-user device and/or the secure computer system. The coercion security system can executes one or more security commands upon the secure end-user device in response to detected coercion.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for authorizing a user in connection with a transaction at a transaction terminal. The systems and methods described herein enable a series of operations whereby a user using a mobile device can capture a code that uniquely identifies a transaction terminal. In addition the mobile device can also capture a user's biometrics, generate a biometric identifier and biometrically verify the user's identity by comparing the biometric identifier to a previously generated biometric identifier. If the user is biometrically authenticated the mobile device can generate a transaction request including, a user identifier, a mobile device identifier, and the transaction terminal code and transmit the transaction request to a system server. Based on the transaction request, the system server can further authenticate the user and/or approve the requested transaction. If the user is authenticated, the system server can instruct the terminal to advance the financial transaction.

The architecture can utilize an improved public key infrastructure (PKI) approach that segments a private encryption key into three parts and distributes the three parts between the end-user device and the biometric authentication gateway. Two of the three parts can be encased within fuzzy vaults based upon the user's biometric vector.

    Abstract: A method for authenticating hand biometrics that begins with a biometric security system receiving a palm-up digital image of a user's hand. The palm section and a fingertip aggregate section can be identified. The palm section can be processed and compared to reference palm sections. A first verification score for each reference palm section can be generated. When the first verification score fails to meet a first threshold, the biometric authentication process can be terminated. When one or more reference palm sections meet the first threshold, the fingertip aggregate can be processed and compared to reference fingertip aggregate sections respective to the palm sections. A second verification score can then be generated for each reference. This generation can be performed on fewer reference fingertip aggregate sections, decreasing overall resource consumption. When the second verification score meets a second threshold, the biometric authentication can be successful.

The secure multivisor can instantiate a user space partition running a virtual machine with a guest OS having installed client software applications. When the virtual machine, a client software application, or a user requests interaction with the secure RTOS that meets a predefined privilege threshold, the biometric security service can determine the biometric identity of the user. When the determined biometric identity of the user matches a required biometric identity of the interaction, the biometric security service can allow the interaction with the secure RTOS.
