Abstract: A method of adjusting operating configurations in a networking device to regulate thermal conditions in the networking device to be within a thermal range while optimizing service for the communication activity of networking device. Example implementations include analyzing communication activity of the one or more network interfaces to determine possible operating configurations to service the communication activity. In an example implementation, the possible operating configurations are learned based on the operating configurations and characteristics of the communication activity when the monitored thermal conditions leave and return the thermal range. Further, the one or more network interfaces of the device can be configured based on service levels for portions of the communication activity in order to regulate the thermal conditions.

In an example embodiment, a system may receive a template list and previews of templates in the template list and display the previews to a user via a graphical interface. In some instances, the system may receive an input selecting a certain template from among the templates from the user via the graphical interface, retrieve a template file describing the certain template, and display a content item of the user integrated into the certain template based on the template file. In some embodiments, the system may facilitate unlocking or providing access to templates, the template file may be associated with an asset package including files used when applying the template file to content, or the template may include multiple template pages into which content elements may be inserted to create an arrangement or sequence of content.

Abstract: A system for sharing settings for modifying images is described. In an example embodiment, an image-modification application may display an image and editing elements in a user interface programed to edit image-adjustment settings that affect aspects of the image on the user interface. The image-modification application may receive user inputs modifying the editing elements and, in response, modify image-adjustment settings and apply the modified image-adjustment settings to the visual aspects of the image. In some embodiments, the image-modification application may receive a first user input requesting to export a settings file including the modified image-adjustment settings, generate the settings file based on the modified image-adjustment settings, and export the settings file.

Abstract: An example method presents one or more mobile application user interfaces and receive inputs via the one or more mobile application user interfaces defining a story object for a social media site. The story object comprises a plurality of consecutive graphical pages. The method receives an input to publish the story object as a web page and uploads the story object to an online storage location. The method further sends, via an API of a media publishing application, a request to the media publishing application requesting to publish the story object as a web page. The request includes a user identifier of the user, a unique uniform resource locator (URL), and one or more story publication parameters. The method receives notification that the web page was published at the URL.

The transfer chamber also includes a robot hub, a robot arm attached to the robot hub, and a blade attached to the robot arm. The body of the transfer chamber is connected to the wafer storage cassette and the process chambers, and the robot arm is configured to transfer a wafer from the wafer storage cassette through the body of the transfer chamber to one or more of the process chambers. The locking pin is configured to detachably attach to the robot arm to constrain the blade at a predetermined position within the transfer chamber.

Non-blocking writes eliminate such blocking by buffering the written data elsewhere in memory and unblocking the writing process immediately. Subsequent reads to the updated page locations are also made non-blocking and, in some cases, can be eliminated when the read request can be serviced from in-memory patches. Implementation scenarios can include an operating system (OS) enhancement, revision to an existing OS component (e.g., the OS kernel), special OS component, or enhancement to the software or firmware of the controller software or microcontroller of a storage device or array of storage devices.

A method is disclosed for making a formed and flanged part that begins by drawing a blank held by a pad, a flanging ring and a binder ring against a punch in a press to form a drawn blank. The drawn blank is then laser trimmed to form a trimmed/drawn blank. The trimmed/drawn blank is then clamped between the pad and the punch while the flange forming ring forms a flange into a flange forming groove.

Abstract: A clearinghouse receives medical-related financial data, including data describing payment claims for medical services from a provider and payment polices and explanations of benefits (EOBs) from a payer. The clearinghouse aggregates the data into logical units, such as family units. A translation module translates codes in the EOBs or other data into layperson descriptions. An end-user uses a client computer to download the aggregated medical-related financial data from the clearinghouse. An analytics module at the client computer analyzes the medical-related financial data to identify items of interest to the end-user, such as billing and payment errors, and available tax deductions. The end-user can input personal medical data and the analytics module will correlate the medical data with the medical services identified by the financial data.

Abstract: A spring-loaded shelf for an existing beverage cooler, which obviates the need for a user to reach more deeply within the confines of the cooler for a beverage as the contents of the cooler become depleted. The spring-loaded shelf has a base, a platform pivotally attached to the base by two scissor-type linkages, and a lifting mechanism for selectively and automatically raising the platform with respect to the base upon the scissor-type linkages, as the weight of the beverages placed upon the platform gradually decreases. Use of the spring-loaded shelf prevents injury to the user while retrieving a beverage from the cooler, and also provides for increased accessibility and visibility of the contents of the cooler.

Abstract: A contrast resolution tissue-equivalent ultrasound test phantom comprises a block of material having ultrasonic propagation characteristics similar to that of human or animal tissue. A plurality of contrast objects are embedded in the block, each having a different reflectivity. The contrast objects have at least one dimension wherein the size of the object in cross-section decreases so that periodic ultrasonic scans of all of the objects simultaneously produce successive displays of plural cross-sectional patterns, the pattern in each display having the same size but different contrasts whereas the pattern size changes for successive displays.
