  • Patent number: 7333117
Abstract: Disclosed are a method of compensating colors in an image display device for users with color vision deficiency and a device of the same, enabling the users with color vision deficiency to view display images as vividly and naturally as normal users. The method for compensating colors in an image display device includes a step of determining whether a user is partially color blind or normal, and a step of controlling gain values of a plurality of color signals depending upon the user's color perceptivity so as to compensate colors displayed on a screen, if the user is determined to be partially color blind.

  • Publication number: 20040240579
Abstract: The present invention discloses a wireless transmitting/receiving apparatus for transmitting and receiving large amounts of digital data using a commercial wireless transmitting/receiving apparatus. The wireless transmitting apparatus includes a data converter for mapping multibit digital data by a data symbol in accordance with a predetermined mapping table, for converting the data symbol to an analog signal, and for outputting the analog signal, and a wireless transmitter for modulating the analog signal and for transmitting the signal wirelessly. The wireless receiving apparatus includes a wireless receiver for demodulating a wireless signal received to an analog signal, and a data restoration section for converting the analog signal to a digital signal in accordance with a predetermined mapping table, conducting an inverse symbol mapping on the digital signal, and outputting the digital signal.

  • Publication number: 20030218695
Abstract: A color reproduction correcting system and method, and a video display device and method can reproduce original color by considering signal source and display device. Each signal source information and each display device information can be stored. The signal source and the display device, which are currently used (e.g., corrected), can be determined, for example, by a user selection. In one embodiment, the signal provided from a transmission side can be inverse gamma-corrected based on a corresponding signal source, and a colorimetric error of the inverse gamma-corrected signal is preferably corrected using corresponding signal source information and display device information. The corrected colorimetric error signal can be gamma-corrected based on a corresponding display device and then can be displayed on the corresponding display device.

  • Patent number: 6406874
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of determining the enzymatic activity of blood coagulation factor XIII by using purified fibrin monomer as a substrate of this enzyme. The enzymatic activity is determined by detecting the degree of cross-linking of fibrin monomer formed by the blood coagulation factor XIII and the fibrin monomer free of blood coagulation factor XIII is obtained by washing the preparation with citric acid solution. The present method can be effectively used for the validation of the other enzymatic assay methods for the blood coagulation factor XIII as well as the studies for the characterization of the blood coagulation factor XIII.

  • Patent number: 6137543
Abstract: The present invention relates to a gamma-correction circuit which can prevent the deterioration of focusing in a projection television. The gamma-correction circuit comprises a gamma-correction section having an input for receiving a blue color video signal and operable to generate a gamma-corrected signal, a peak-beam current limiting section connected to the gamma-correction section and operable to compare a beam current corresponding to the blue color video signal with a predetermined peak-level value, the peak-beam current limiting section further operable to clip or pass the gamma corrected signal according to the comparison, and a video amplifying section connected to the peak-beam current limiting section and operable to amplify clipped or passed signal, and output the amplified signal to a blue color CRT.
