The water treatment apparatus may include: a power applying unit applying power to the deionization module in order to perform a regeneration process a regeneration parameter measuring unit measuring a regeneration parameter of the deionization module when the power is applied; and a controlling unit terminating the regeneration process, based on the measured regeneration parameter.

Abstract: Provided are apparatus and method for controlling total dissolved solids, and water treatment apparatus including apparatus for controlling total dissolved solids. The total dissolved solid controlling apparatus includes, a filtering unit including a deionizing filter removing dissolved solids from inflow raw water by an input current and, a control unit controlling the input current such that water discharged from the deionizing filter corresponds to target total dissolved solids.

Abstract: There is provided a water purifier with an ice maker. The water purifier with an ice maker may include an ice making part 200 having an evaporator 210 and making ice I; and a circulation cooling part 300 configured to circulate water stored in a cold water tank 310 to the evaporator 210 so that the water stored in the cold water tank 310 is cooled by performing a heat exchange with refrigerants flowing in the evaporator 210. With the configurations as described above, it is possible to simultaneously make ice and cool water using a single evaporator. Therefore, there is no need to make separate ice so as to cool water. There is no need to make separate ice, thereby making it possible to enhance the energy efficiency of the water purifier with an ice maker.

Abstract: There is provided an ice maker and a water purifier having the same capable of effectively making ice using two water trays. The water purifier having an ice maker includes a water tray member comprising an ice-making water tray holding ice-making raw water to make ice using an ice-making unit, and an auxiliary water tray holding ice-making raw water remaining in the ice-making water tray in the course of cooling the ice-making raw water by means of the ice-making unit and removing the ice-making raw water from the ice-making water tray; an ice reservoir storing ice made in the ice-making unit; a cold water storage tank cooling water held therein using the ice made in the ice-making unit; and a guide member guiding the ice made in the ice-making unit so that the ice is selectively fed to either the ice reservoir or the cold water storage tank.
