  • Patent number: 11535824
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and compostions to improve the efficiency of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). There is increasing evidence that the epigenetic state of donor nuclei has a significant impact on potential of nuclear transfer embryos to develop into blastocysts, from which pluripotent stem cells are derived. Strategic application of histone agents, capable of altering epigenetic state such as methylation, allows zygotic activation and robust blastocyst generation.

  • Publication number: 20180208891
Abstract: Provided are a storage method and a banking system of cells prepared using somatic cell nuclear transfer (NT) technology with homozygous genotypes of genes of human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A, HLA-B, HLA-DR, and the like. The banking of NT cell-derived stem cells may be applied to autologous or allogenic patients and can provide transplantable cells and tissue materials for the treatment of various diseases such as diabetes, osteoarthritis, Parkinson's disease, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20070179056
Abstract: Disclosed is a sorbent for the removal of mercury from combustion flue gas and a preparation method thereof. The sorbent includes an activated heavy oil heavy ash impregnated with 0.1-30% by weight of any chemical substance selected from sulfur, iodine, bromine and chlorine. The sorbent is prepared in an economical manner using heavy oil fly ash, industrial waste generated from heavy oil-fired boilers, and has excellent sorption performance for mercury, so that a low concentration of mercury contained in combustion flue gas discharged from large-scale boilers can be removed by injection of a small amount of the sorbent. Thus, the invention can prevent a reduction in the recycling rate of coal fly ash in coal-fired power plants and minimize operation cost.
