Abstract: An apparatus and a method for testing belt tension of a belt drive for a product such as a washing machine or the like, and more particularly to an apparatus and a method for automatically testing initial belt tension of the belt drive on an assembly line. The belt tension testing apparatus comprises a rod cell for detecting a signal indicating a pressure generated due to a belt tension of a belt of a belt drive; a lift drive for moving the rod cell to a position where the belt is to be pressed by the rod cell; a pressing drive for moving the rod cell to press the belt; measuring means for measuring a distance by which the rod cell is moved by the pressing drive; conveyer means for conveying the belt drive; a fixing support for fixing the belt drive at a working position; and a control and display device for controlling operations of actuators of the lift drive, the pressing drive, and the fixing support, and for determining and displaying whether the belt tension is within an appropriate value range.

Abstract: Parts are arranged in a stack of trays disposed atop one another. The parts are positioned such that a lower portion of each part is disposed within one of the trays, and an upper portion of each part projects into a recess formed in the next upper tray. The trays are of identical configuration and adjacent trays are angularly offset with respect to one another.

Abstract: An apparatus for adjusting the position of a motor and for preventing the motor from being inclined when a belt is assembled to a motor assembly. The apparatus has a pulling section for pulling the motor and a pushing section for pushing the motor. The pulling section has a finger which grips the motor and pivots by a pneumatic cylinder. The pushing section pushes the motor against a pulling force of the pulling section so that the pivot movement or inclination of the motor can be prevented. The belt is easily assembled to the motor assembly, and the productivity of the motor assembly is increased.
