Abstract: Provided is a peptide composition for preventing or treating Alzheimer's dementia. A peptide or a salt substituent thereof according to the presently claimed subject matter exhibits effects such as suppression of LPS-mediated cytokine production, suppression of LPS-induced neuroinflammation, amelioration of cognitive impairment, suppression of beta amyloid or tau protein aggregation, and suppression of neuronal loss. The polypeptide or the salt substituent thereof can permeate the blood-brain barrier, and thus, is expected to be usefully used for preventing or treating Alzheimer's dementia.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments related to a device connected to a socket provided in an external device. The device includes: a first connector configured to couple to a receptacle of a first external device; a second connector; a plurality of wires each including a first end connected to the first connector and a second end connected to the second connector; and a material that insulates the wires. The first connector includes: a first structure capable of coupling to the receptacle; a non-conductive second structure connected to the first structure; a plurality of contacts, each of which includes a first portion included inside the first structure, and a second portion included inside the second structure; and a circuit structure that connects two of the second portions of the contacts. At least some of wires are disposed to contact with a corresponding one of the contacts without using a solder.

Accordingly, there is provided a computer which effectively overcomes the limit on a memory storage capacity, and saves the space of a mainboard and reduces the weight thereof.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for recovering hydrogen in the process of desulfurizing petroleum hydrocarbon, in which hydrogen is recovered from the fuel fraction obtained by hydrodesulfurization, and the recovered hydrogen is reused, so that the existing hydrodesulfurization equipment for producing ultralow-sulfur diesel fuel can be utilized to the utmost and simultaneously the effluence of hydrogen from fuel fraction can be minimized, thereby reducing production costs.

Abstract: Polymeric compositions capable of forming stable micelles in an aqueous solution, comprising an amphiphilic block copolymer of a hydrophilic block and a hydrophobic block, and a polylactic acid derivative wherein one end of the polylactic acid is covalently bound to at least one carboxyl group. The carboxyl group of the polylactic acid derivative may be fixed with a di- or tri-valent metal ion, obtained by adding the di- or tri-valent metal ion to the polymeric composition.
