  • Publication number: 20060290824
Abstract: Disclosed is a display device adapting a resolution improvement device capable of effectively improving a resolution in a projecting display device and a method thereof. A display device according to the present invention comprises: a light source; an image forming means for forming an image using a light emitted from the light source and an input image signal; a projection means for projecting an image formed in the image forming means on a screen; a displacement means for displacing an image displayed on the screen to be displaced; a driving means for driving the displacement to be moved; and an input signal applying means for applying an input signal to the driving means for the displacement means to be rotated in a predetermined direction. According to the present invention, different images are displayed on a screen periodically. It seems that the greater number of pixels is used than the real number in a sense of sight.

  • Publication number: 20060106179
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of preparing an EP(D)M elastomer, which includes pre-cooling a reactive solvent to ?80 to ?100° C.; and polymerizing ethylene, at least one higher ?-olefin having 3 to 18 carbons, and selectively, at least one conjugated or non-conjugated diene having 5 to 15 carbons, in the presence of the reactive solvent. According to the method of the current invention, the yield of the EP(D)M elastomer is drastically increased even though a conventional preparation device is used unchanged. Further, methods of controlling the yield of the EP(D)M elastomer and of recovering the EP(D)M elastomer are provided.

  • Publication number: 20060007057
Abstract: A system for improving the resolution of a display device by using human visual characteristics wherein an image can be displayed at a more improved resolution than an actual physical resolution, thereby achieving the same effect as that where the resolution is physically improved. An image signal corresponding to one frame is separated into a first image signal and a second image signal, and a first image and a second image are formed based on the first image signal and the second image signal. The first image and the second image are respectively displayed at a first location and a second location. As a result, a viewer can view the image with an improved resolution.

  • Publication number: 20050259227
Abstract: A concept of improving a resolution by using human's visual characteristics is provided. Bu the present invention, an image can be displayed at a more improved resolution than an actual physical resolution, thereby obtaining the same effect that the resolution is physically improved. An image signal corresponding to one frame is split into a first image signal and a second image signal, and a first image and a second image are formed based on the first image signal and the second image signal. Then, the first image and the second image are respectively displayed at a first location and a second location. As a result, a viewer can view the image at an improved resolution.

  • Publication number: 20050162617
Abstract: There is provided a projection display device with an angle shifter, in which the picture quality can be improved by reducing a visual pixel gap between an imaging element and a projection lens. The projection display device includes a light source for emitting a light, an imaging element for forming an image by using the light and an input image signal, a projection lens for enlarging and projecting the image on a screen, and the angle shifter disposed between the imaging element and the screen. The angle shifter periodically changes an incident angle of the light enlarged and projected on the screen. The angle shifter includes an angle shifting plate to visually remove gaps between the pixels of the imaging element.
