Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of providing a multimedia messaging service, which guarantees the uniqueness of a transmitted multimedia message. In the multimedia messaging method using a mobile communication network of the present invention, a multimedia message transmitted from an originating mobile station is stored. A receiving mobile station is informed of the arrival of the multimedia message. The stored multimedia message is transmitted to the receiving mobile station if a download request is received from the receiving mobile station. In this case, the stored multimedia message includes a unique message identifier distinguished from file information of other multimedia messages stored to be retransmissible.

Abstract: In a method for providing a video data streaming service, a server determines whether an occupancy is below a first threshold or is equal to or greater than a second threshold, the occupancy representing the amount of data occupying a queuing buffer of a terminal and the first threshold being less than the second threshold. If the occupancy is not below the first threshold, the server provides the data streaming service at a predetermined service bit rate which is less than the current service bit rate. If the occupancy is equal to or greater than a second threshold, the server provides the data streaming service at a predetermined service bit rate which is greater than the current service bit rate.

Abstract: A method for controlling multimedia based on RTSP is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: a) confirming a state of a multimedia terminal when a user of the multimedia terminal selects a multimedia play; b) generating a PLAY message of requesting selected media data based on the result of step a) and transmitting the PLAY message to a media server through a wireless data communication network; c) determining whether the state of the multimedia terminal is varied after step b); and generating a control message corresponding to the varied state when the state of the multimedia terminal is varied and transmitting the control message to the server.
