  • Patent number: 8823654
Abstract: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, which facilitates a terminal to be used in further consideration of user's convenience. According to at least one of embodiments of the present invention, while a first function is being executed in a mobile terminal, if a second function different from the first function is executed, a first function icon having execution progress status information of the first function at a timing point of stopping the execution of the first function can be generated. If the first function is re-executed by selecting the first function icon later, it is advantageous in that the first function can be executed in a manner of being continuous with an execution progress status at the execution stop timing point.

  • Publication number: 20110050602
Abstract: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which a terminal user is facilitated to use a specific function of a mobile terminal in a locked state to prevent an incorrect touch input to a touchscreen provided to the mobile terminal. The present invention includes entering a terminal locked state, displaying a standby image on a touchscreen by image blurring, releasing the locked state if a prescribed touch gesture is performed on the touchscreen, and displaying the standby image by image deblurring.

  • Publication number: 20070132697
Abstract: The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof to speed up a bend alignment at an initial operation such as right after power on in the liquid crystal display with OCB mode. According to the present invention, the LCD, which includes a LCD panel, a source driver outputting image signals and a gate driver sequentially outputting scanning signals, at an initial operation, is controlled to output external bias voltages to common electrode lines and simultaneously to stop the driving of the gate driver and the source driver, according as a first time passes, is controlled to output specific common electrode voltages thereto instead of the external bias voltages and simultaneously to perform a driving of the source driver and the gate driver.

  • Patent number: 7196686
Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes an LCD panel, a source driver outputting image signals to the LCD panel, a gate driver sequentially outputting scanning signals to the LCD panel. At the same time of power on, high-level bias voltages are applied to a common electrode line of the LCD panel, and simultaneously, driving of the source driver and the gate driver are stopped. After a specific time has passed, common electrode voltages are applied to the common electrode lines of the liquid crystal display instead of the high-level bias voltages to drive the source driver and the gate driver.
