  • Patent number: 8937593
Abstract: A method for calibrating position of light point is used for an interactive projection system including an image capture device. The image capture device includes an image sensor and an optical filter. The method includes the following steps. A plurality of calibrating patterns formed by visible light is individually projected on a screen. The distance between the calibrating pattern with big area and an optical axis of the image sensor is larger than that between the calibrating pattern with small area and the optical axis. Next, the exposure time of the image sensor is adjusted so the image sensor can capture the images of the calibrating patterns through the optical filter. According to the images of the calibrating patterns, a plurality of coordinate positions is gotten. Then, the coordinate positions are adjusted according to a standard coordinate.

  • Publication number: 20140055354
Abstract: A multi-mode interactive projection system includes a pointing device, an infrared capturing device, and a projection device. A timing generation module of the pointing device generates several timing signals, and controls the pointing device to execute one light emitting mode according to one timing signal. A light emitting module of the pointing device is controlled by the timing generation module, and generates infrared in a light emitting time according to the executed light emitting mode. In a detection time, the light emitting time corresponds to one light emitting mode. The infrared capturing device periodically captures the infrared. A projection module is controlled by a background image and a writing image outputted by a host device, and projects the image to screen. The host device determines the light emitting mode and continuously captures coordinate points of infrared by the infrared capturing device in the detection time.

  • Publication number: 20100165634
Abstract: Disclosed is an ultra-thin light guidance device, which is realized through integrating a micro prism set into a light guidance module, and achieving filtering the incident lights by means of a micro grating in said micro prism set, thus only part of the effective incident lights pass through said micro prism set, while the rest of incident lights are reflected back to a bottom light guidance layer and a bottom light reflection plate, so that lights are reflected back and enters into said micro prism set again. As such, in less than 10 mm thickness of the ultra-thin light guidance device, a dot or a line light source is converted to form an evenly distributed and highly efficient surface light source by making use of said micro prism set.

  • Patent number: 7703926
Abstract: A briefing system is used to project images onto a projection screen to form a projection picture. The briefing system comprises a pointer, a projector and a computer electrically connected to the projector. The computer outputs an image signal to the projector. The projector projects an image corresponding to the image signal onto the projection screen to form the projection picture. The indicator is used to project an indication point. The projector also captures the image of the projection picture and the indication point and transfers the image to the computer. The computer then calculates a location where the cursor on the computer screen should reach according to the location of the indication point on the projection picture and moves the cursor on the screen to there.

  • Publication number: 20090128783
Abstract: The present invention discloses an ocular-protection projector device, wherein the projector is additionally equipped with an image-capture unit. When the projector projects information onto a screen, the image-capture unit captures the human-shape image of a user. An image-processing unit, which is arranged inside the projector or an external electronic device, receives the human-shape image, creates a human-shape black mask, and outputs the human-shape black mask via the projector onto an area of the screen corresponding to the user's position. Thereby, the present invention can effectively protect the user's eyes from the harm of intense light.

  • Publication number: 20030172211
Abstract: A dual input/output automatic selection device is disclosed to provide an input/output interface between projectors and peripheral products generating VGA (Video Graphics Array) signals. The dual input/output automatic selection device comprises an input/output unit and an image processing unit. The input/output unit has two VGA ports, each of which is connected to a switch circuit having a VGA image data input path and a VGA image data output path. Each of the two VGA ports serves as either an input port or an output port depending on whether the VGA image data input path or the VGA image data output path is activated. The image processing unit has a switch circuit by which VGA image data from either of the two VGA ports is received for processing. Compared to the conventional unidirectional single input/output interface, the dual input/output automatic selection device has greatly improved the connection accessibility and mobility between the projectors and peripheral products.

  • Patent number: 4984248
Abstract: In data communication systems, high speed transceivers are used to transmit and receive signals to and from the communicating medium. These transceivers can transfer data with very high data rates up to 10 mega-bit per second and provide level conversion, signal isolation, ground isolation, and high impedance. To reduce or suppress electromagnetic interference, the square wave signal is translated into a smooth signal which is converted into a signal capable of traveling through the communicating medium. Signal isolation and ground isolation avoid the danger of high voltage shock and damage to the computer equipment from atmospheric disturbances, such as lightning. High impedance provides the bus structure cabling system necessary for multiaccess.
