  • Publication number: 20220296738
Abstract: A carrier having one or more non-planar surfaces may be embedded with one or more radioactive seeds. A spherical carrier may be substantially radially symmetrical around an axis or a spherical carrier may include a non-spherical portion, such as a tapered portion that extends from a spherical portion.

  • Publication number: 20220296922
Abstract: Custom radioactive seed carriers are fabricated pre-operatively and/or intra-operatively to more precisely match carrier specification of a radiation treatment plan for a particular patient. One or more carrier specification component, such as a 3D printer, injection molding system, machining component, or bioprinter, may be utilized to create the custom carrier.

  • Publication number: 20080027534
Abstract: A self-sealing vascular graft, including a substrate with a sealant layer and several optional additional layers, is described. The substrate can be ePTFE and the material used for the sealant and additional layers can be polyurethane. The sealant layer and additional layers may include one or more base layers, one or more foam layers, beading of different sizes and shapes, and ePTFE tape. A flared cuff may be integral to one or both ends of the substrate or may be attached to one or both ends. Various methods of making a self-sealing vascular graft are also described, including methods of disposition, methods of forming, methods of bonding and methods of attaching.
