    Abstract: A method for routing service calls in a telecommunication network, in particular those associated with the intelligent network of a network operator (TP), with a switching center recognizing the service call and a control facility controlling the service call. The call coming from the subscriber (TN) is recognized as a service call and the control facility receives an information signal (IDP) via the switching center. If the control facility can neither resolve the service number down to a physical address, nor determine the network operator in whose network the service is provided, the switching center receives a message via the control facility, and forwards the service call to a further switching center via the switching center.
