  • Publication number: 20240318490
Abstract: A damper is provided for a fitting for movably supporting a pivoting element or a pull-out element relative to a stationary carrier. The damper includes a damper housing, a fluid chamber arranged in the damper housing, a damping fluid arranged in the fluid chamber, a piston displaceably supported in the fluid chamber, and a sealing element having a first section which bears against or which is configured to bear against an inner wall of the fluid chamber. The sealing element includes a second section, the second section being spaced apart from the inner wall of the fluid chamber and being configured to be moved, preferably pivoted, tilted and/or radially widened, above a predetermined threshold value of a pressure application to the piston, relative to the first section which bears against or which is configured to bear against the inner wall of the fluid chamber.

  • Publication number: 20240318484
Abstract: A fitting such as a hinge can movably support a pivoting element relative to a stationary carrier. The fitting includes a first fitting portion to be fixed to a carrier, a second fitting portion configured to be fixed to the pivoting element, and a hinge lever pivotally supported about a hinge axis. The hinge lever hingedly connects the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion to each other. A spring device can move the first and second fitting portions into a closed position and/or into an open position relative to each other. A portion, preferably an end portion, of the spring device is supported on a support element, and the support element supporting the spring device is rotationally mounted, preferably on the hinge lever.

  • Patent number: 11992122
Abstract: A furniture damper includes a damper housing, a fluid chamber therein, a damping fluid therein, and a piston displaceably supported within the fluid chamber. A switch element can be moved, when a damping stroke is below a predetermined pressure threshold value, into a first position in which the channel of the piston is at least partially covered by the switch element and a first flow rate of the damping fluid streams through a channel of the piston. The switch element is also configured to be moved, when the damping stroke is above the predetermined pressure threshold value, from the first position into a second position in which the channel of the piston is at least partially unblocked by the switch element and a second flow rate of the damping fluid streams through the channel of the piston, with the second fluid rate being larger than the first fluid rate.
