  • Publication number: 20160126521
Abstract: A rechargeable battery cell comprises a separator (10) as a load bearing vessel for supporting positive (13+) and negative (13?) electrodes that are attached by embedding and/or by coating or laminating at opposite ends of the separator (10). A carbon structure (12) can be embedded or coated on the separator (10). The carbon structure (12) can be a nano-structure or a carbon nanofiber structure for mechanically strenghtening and stabilizing the separator (10) surface.

  • Publication number: 20080240161
Abstract: VDSL (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line) technology uses at least one downlink frequency band (D1, D2) for conveying information from a data network to a subscriber's transceiver unit. At some sites VDSL technology cannot be used because no standardized uplink frequency band (U1, U2) is usable. The invention solves this problem by using at least one non-VDSL uplink frequency band (N1) for conveying information from the subscriber's transceiver unit to the data network.

  • Patent number: 7266084
Abstract: A method and arrangements are disclosed for distributing configuration information in an xDSL network that comprises network elements on certain hierarchical levels and a network managing station. There is transmitted a request for configuration information from a first network element located on a first hierarchical level to a second network element located on a second hierarchical level. The second hierarchical level is above the first hierarchical level in the xDSL network, but the second network element is other than the network managing station. The second network element decides whether it is appropriate to read the configuration information requested in the request for configuration information from a configuration memory of the second network element. In case it is decided to be appropriate, the configuration information requested in the request for configuration information is read from a configuration memory of the second network element and transmitted to the first network element.

  • Patent number: 6542581
Abstract: The method is for controlling the transmission power for a session in a system when transmitting data via a telephone line by using a digital subscriber line between a user terminal and a central unit. The transmission power is increased or decreased between given limit values so that the transmission power is kept as low as possible while still providing a sufficient transmission quality. The transmission quality, and therefore the transmission power, is controlled by the value of the signal-to-noise ratio and the number of bit errors BER within a given time interval.

  • Publication number: 20020136357
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a method for controlling the transmission power for a session in a system for transmitting data via a telephone line by using a digital subscriber line between a user terminal and a central unit. In the method, the transmission power is increased or decreased between given limit values so that the power is kept as low as possible, while still providing sufficient transmission quality. The quality criteria according to which the transmission power is controlled consistis of the value of the Signal to Noise Ratio (S/N), and the number of bit errors BER within a given time interval.

  • Publication number: 20020085508
Abstract: A method and arrangements are disclosed for distributing configuration information in an xDSL network that comprises network elements (201, 202, 203, 211) on certain hierarchical levels and a network managing station. There is transmitted a request (302, 401) for configuration information from a first network element located on a first hierarchical level to a second network element located on a second hierarchical level. The second hierarchical level is above the first hierarchical level in the xDSL network, but the second network element is other than the network managing station. The second network element decides (404, 408), whether it is appropriate to read the configuration information requested in the request for configuration information from a configuration memory of the second network element.
