  • Patent number: 9581423
Abstract: A method for measuring a three-dimension object (10, 10a, 10a?, 10h), includes the stationary fixing of the object to a holder (12) rotatable about an axis of rotation (R). At least one surface (22, 22?, 24, 26, 26a?, 28, 28a) of the object is scanned by a probe (20). The object is rotated about the axis of rotation, and the holder and the probe are moved relative to one another. The holder and the probe are moved linearly relative to one another along a translation axis (T) enclosing an acute angle, with the axis of rotation of the holder and spans a plane within which the probe can be moved.

Abstract: A method for measuring a three-dimensional object (10, 10a, 10a?, 10h), comprising: —the stationary fixing of the object (10, 10a, 10a?, 10h) to a holder (12) which can be rotated about an axis of rotation (R), —the scanning of at least one surface (22, 22?, 24, 26, 26a?, 28, 28a) of the object (10, 10a, 10a?, 10h) by means of a probe (20), wherein the object (10, 10a, 10a?, 10h) is rotated about the axis of rotation (R) and the holder (12) and the probe (20) are moved relative to one another, and —the detection of the position (b(X, Y)) of the probe (20), is characterized in that the holder (12) and the probe (20) are moved linearly with respect to one another along a translation axis (T) which encloses an acute angle (0°<?<90°) with the axis of rotation (R) of the holder (12) and spans a plane within which the probe (20) can be moved.
