  • Publication number: 20090148658
Abstract: The invention relates to a sealing arrangement composed of at least: two adjoining structural parts (2) made of concrete, steel, reinforced concrete, cast iron or other materials, and a sealing profile (8) which is made of polymer material and sealingly bridges the gap (4) between the two structural parts (2). The sealing arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that: the sealing profile (8) is composed of two or more co-extruded sealing parts (A1, B1) that form an adhesive join, the sealing parts being produced using at least two different types of polymer materials that are distinguished by having common elastic properties but having different mechanical and/or chemical and/or biological properties. Advantageous co-extruded sealing part constructions and material combinations are proposed.

  • Patent number: 6592296
Abstract: A sealing assembly comprising two abutting components and a sealing profile produced from an elastomeric material, which bridges the gap between the two components to form a seal. The components are configured in particular as sections which are assembled into a tubular tunnel thus forming transverse and longitudinal joints. There is also a sealing profile being located in turn in each recess, thus forming a cornered sealing framework. There is also a lubricant for the contact surfaces between each component and the sealing profile, in particular for the contact surfaces between two sealing profiles. The sealing assembly has at least one sealing profile that has at least two protrusions in the vicinity of the contact surfaces. The protrusions form a sealed chamber, in which the lubricant is contained.

  • Patent number: 6471138
Abstract: The invention relates to a rail system consisting of a rail, especially a grooved rail, comprising a head, stem and foot, whereby a base profile, made of an elastomeric material is for the most part arranged underneath the foot of the rail, in addition to guard rail tie bars that are preferably provided with an encasing profile made of an elastomeric material, a driving track made of concrete or other building materials with a built-in space for receiving the rail, packing made of an elastomeric material arranged on both sides of the rail, in addition to a fixture for said rail. The inventive rail system is characterized in that the packing, once it is adapted to the contour of the rail, fills the remaining gap entirely and is provided with electrical insulation.
