Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a technique for scheduling resource reservations of services in a service providing network. A method embodiment comprises the steps of receiving a resource reservation request indicating a preferred time period for delivery of a requested service available in the network; and scheduling resource reservation of the requested service based on statistical information related to resource utilisations or reservations of one or more services available in the network and the preferred time period for delivery of the requested service.

Abstract: For individualized data communication of a data entity (200) to at least a first recipient and a second recipient, a descriptive file (100) is provided, which is supplemented by at least one identifier of a placeholder type. The descriptive file (100) also includes at least one identifier of a direct type, which is associated with a corresponding data piece (210) of the data entity (200). The identifier of the placeholder type is in turn associated with descriptive data (120) of an individualized data piece (220). By providing different types of the descriptive data (120) for different recipients, the identifier of the placeholder type may be used as a reference to different types of personalized content in the individualized data piece (220). This individualization may be obtained without modifying an identifier section (110) of the descriptive file (100).

Abstract: To control content distribution to plural mobile entities (20, 25-27), a device (10) for managing the distribution of the content may determine mobile entities (20, 25-27) which participate in sharing the same content and which are located in the same region. The mobile entities (20, 25-27) respectively have a first interface for communication with a mobile communication network (2, 4, 5) and a second interface for forming an ad-hoc network with another mobile entity (25-27). A message indicating at least one peer address of a peer mobile entity (25-27) may be selectively transmitted to a mobile entity (20). The peer address allows the mobile entity (20) to retrieve at least a piece of the content over the second interface from another mobile entity (25-27).

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for generating a personalized content file for a user entity using a file repair request for identifying a user. The file repair request is initiated by generating a preliminary file that is transmitted to the user entity, the preliminary file containing a predetermined placeholder. The preliminary file is transmitted to the user entity, the user entity starting the file repair request. The personalized content file is generated by replacing the predetermined placeholder in the preliminary file by a personalized content.

Abstract: For improving feed-based automatic distribution of content to a mobile terminal via a mobile network, a network component (150) comprises a network-side agent (160). The network-side agent (160) manages the feed-based automatic transmission of content to the mobile terminal and is configured to periodically generate a feed request to a feed server, to receive a requested feed from the feed server in response to the feed request, and to transmit the received feed to the mobile terminal. The network component (150) may also comprise a cache memory (164) for storing copies of feeds and contents and a proxy for processing feed requests and content requests received from the mobile terminal (110).
