  • Patent number: 8585005
Abstract: In a device for mounting an electric blower drive motor in a housing of a heating, ventilating and/or air conditioning unit for vehicles, having a motor adapter (12), which accommodates the driving motor, and a damping device (16), which connects the motor adapter (12) with the housing (10) so as to create a form-lock, the motor adapter (12) and the damping device (16) are integrated in the housing (16). The housing (10) is manufactured with the damping device (16) and with the motor adapter (12) in a casting process for molding of several components.

  • Patent number: 6184762
Abstract: A relay and control module combination wherein the control module has an essentially cuboid housing with a coupling side for plug connection to an auxiliary connection side of a cuboid relay housing. Mutually complementary plug connector elements, which can be connected mechanically and electrically, are provided in both the coupling side and in the auxiliary connection side, The plug connector elements allow mechanical and electrical coupling between the control module and the relay. In this way, a universal relay can be converted into a special relay having a specific function by plugging on the control module.

  • Patent number: 6049265
Abstract: The load section switch is connected between a pole post (4) and a main circuit (8) with a contact arrangement (14, 15, 36). Via a manually actuated switch arm (45), the contact arrangement can be locked in its closed condition, whereby the locking ensues via a switch pawl (39). This switch pawl (39), on the other hand, is coupled to the armature (28) of an electromagnet system (26, 27). In this way, the contact arrangement can be unlocked and the circuit can be interrupted via the electromagnet system given the occurrence of a malfunction condition. Given an accident or a short, the on-board network of a motor vehicle can be quickly disconnected from the current with this section switch in order to reduce the risk of fire or to prevent a discharge of the battery given some other malfunction condition.

  • Patent number: 5903201
Abstract: The relay has a magnetic system with a coil (2), a core (4), a yoke (5) and also an armature (6) mounted on the yoke. A contact spring (7) is fastened to the armature and the end section of said spring interacts with one or more mating contact elements. The contact spring (7) and/or each mating contact element (21, 22, 25, 26) are connected to connection elements which are all anchored in a common plane in separate pockets (33, 34, 35) of an insulating wall (32) on that side of the coil which is opposite the second yoke limb.

  • Patent number: 5834998
Abstract: A relay with a base member accommodating a magnet system is provided whereby connecting leads are provided for a contact arrangement. A cap is mounted onto the base member and includes cap terminal lugs that are part of connecting webs in the inside of the cap. An unreleasable electrical connection is provided between the connecting webs and the connecting leads. One thus obtains a contact and/or coil connection possibility via the housing cap instead of or in addition to terminal lugs disposed on the underside of the base.

  • Patent number: 5808533
Abstract: The modular relay has a base (1) on which a relay system (2, 3, 4) is constructed, as well as a printed circuit board (6) which stands upright on the base. Contact elements (41c, 42c, 43) of the relay are directly connected to flat connectors in the base, via conductor elements. Further conductor elements in the base likewise form flat connectors as connections for a modular circuit which is arranged on the printed circuit board. All conductor elements of the base additionally form solder connecting pins (51b to 56b), which are integrally formed, which all emerge in a row on one side wall of the base, and which are soldered to the printed circuit board in the lower edge region of said printed circuit board. This results in a compact modular structure for a relay having a maximum number of connecting elements, the allocation of these connecting elements being variable for different modular circuits.
