  • Patent number: 10738732
Abstract: A method may be employed to produce a cylinder head cover module that is positionable on a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The cylinder head cover module may include a cover body and a camshaft arranged in the cover body. The cover body may include an opening, and a bearing element may be press-fit into the opening. The camshaft may be rotatably mounted in the bearing element, and the bearing element may seal off the opening of the cover body from the exterior. The method may involve cooling a support shaft and heating components and the cover body before introducing the support shaft into the cover body, where the support shaft is led through passage opening in the components that have been heated.

  • Patent number: 10260455
Abstract: A module may include a receiving element in the form of a bearing frame or a covering hood for arrangement on a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The module may further include a camshaft that is rotatably mounted on the receiving element and projects from the receiving element to hold a camshaft wheel. The module can be prefabricated for direct mounting on the cylinder head. In the prefabrication process, the camshaft may be locked against rotation by an externally accessible securing part in an angular position for acting on valves. The securing part may extend through a first aperture in the camshaft wheel and through or into a receptacle of the receiving element. After mounting the module on the cylinder head, the securing part can be removed.

  • Patent number: 10081338
Abstract: A connection arrangement to connect a wiper blade to a wiper arm is disclosed. A connection element includes an upper part formed to fasten the connection element to the wiper arm, on which upper part a lower part formed to hold a basic body of the wiper blade is mounted to be pivotable around a rotational axis. A slider encloses the wiper arm in an end region, where the slider is able to move along the wiper arm from an assembly position into a functional position securing the connection element. A securing element prevents a movement of the slider into the assembly position during a pivot movement of the lower part around the rotational axis by a first value and allows the movement of the slider into the assembly position if the lower part is pivoted by a second value which is greater than the first value.

  • Patent number: 9764716
Abstract: A wiper arm arrangement with a wiper arm of a windscreen wiper system of a vehicle and an attachment element having at least one line. The attachment element can be coupled to a connecting element designed for holding a wiper blade and for connecting the wiper blade to the wiper arm. Due to the coupling, at least one corresponding line of the connecting element can be joined onto the at least one line of the attachment element. The connecting element can be fitted onto the attachment element in an installation direction which coincides at least substantially with a direction of longitudinal extent of the wiper arm. The attachment element is arranged on the wiper arm so as to be movable in the direction of longitudinal extent of the wiper arm.

  • Publication number: 20160346880
Abstract: Methods for assembling motor vehicle modules that include a shaft, a functional element, and a housing part are disclosed. The shaft may be arranged rotatably in bearing receptacles of the housing part, and the functional element may be fastened by a hub opening on a thickened portion of the shaft. The functional element may first be inserted into the housing part, wherein the shaft can then be pushed in by way of a temperature difference. During the pushing-in of the shaft, the functional element may not yet be in its final axial position and may not yet have its final orientation with respect to the angle of rotation, wherein the positionally correct positioning of the functional element may subsequently take place by way of press compaction. Before the shaft is inserted into the housing part, at least one of the bearing receptacles may be formed in such a manner that a rolling bearing is inserted, in particular pressed, in a receiving opening of the housing part.

  • Patent number: 9493141
Abstract: A wiper blade arrangement having an attachment element that holds a wiper blade, which can be secured on a wiper arm of a windscreen wiper system of a vehicle. The wiper blade is coupleable via the attachment element to at least one channel for washer fluid, which can be introduced from the wiper arm into the attachment element. The attachment element allows a relative movement of the wiper blade with respect to the wiper arm. For this, the attachment element has a rider designed for holding a spring strip of the wiper blade, which includes a wiper-arm-side upper part and a wiper-blade-side lower part, which are connected to each other via a central part of the rider, which encloses at least one line for the washer fluid, wherein the central part has greater elasticity than the upper part and the lower part of the rider.
