  • Publication number: 20200377373
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a porous silica having an average pore diameter of from 20 to 450 ?, a median (D50) pore diameter of from 20 to 450 ?, a pore volume of from 0.15 to 1.2 cm3 g?1, a surface area of from 100 to 600 m2 g?1, and a span of 0.80 or less. The present disclosure also provides a method of producing the porous silica. The method includes the step of mixing together an aqueous phase comprising nanoparticulate silica and an organic phase to form a water-in-oil dispersion or emulsion. The organic phase includes an organic solvent that is insoluble or partially soluble in water and optionally also includes a non-polar organic compound that is insoluble in water and at least partially soluble in the organic solvent. A gelling agent is present in the aqueous phase such that the nanoparticulate silica gels form the porous silica.

  • Patent number: 7495933
Abstract: There is provided a resonance transducer including a main bridge linked with an input signal. The resonance transducer includes a transformer assembly across which an output signal can be tapped, a resonance circuit and a control circuit. In this arrangement, the transformer assembly is linked with the main bridge and the resonance circuit, the resonance circuit is further linked with the main bridge and the control circuit, and the control circuit is further linked with the main bridge.

  • Patent number: 7495425
Abstract: A buck converter is equipped with a switch, a diode, an inductance, a capacitor, an input with a first connection and second connection, and an output with a first connection and second connection. The first connection of the input is connected to the first connection of the output via a series circuit comprised of the switch and the inductance; in particular, the switch is provided on the input side and the inductance is provided on the output side. In addition, the cathode of the diode is connected to the connection between the switch and the inductance while the anode of the diode is connected to the second connection of the input and to the second connection of the output. The capacitor is connected in parallel with the connections of the output. It is possible to trigger the switch by combining a first signal with a second signal and a third signal corresponding to a control variable from the output of the buck converter may be used to adjust the output signal.
