  • Patent number: 10465344
Abstract: Slotted channels with coverings (10) are known for discharging surface water into a channel. The covering has at least one horizontal sheet-metal portion (13) and two vertical sheet-metal portions (11, 12) which are connected to one another via connection devices and have a slot (14) between one another for discharging liquid, for example surface water, into the channel body. In order to allow a particularly complete discharge of water, it is proposed that the horizontal sheet-metal portion (13) comprises drip devices (15) which are mounted and designed in such a way that water running along on an underside of the horizontal sheet-metal portion (13) drips into the channel body.

  • Patent number: 7524133
Abstract: A surface water drainage system according to the present invention includes a structure that can be installed in the ground, and a cover that can be laid onto an upper edge of the structure. Fixation devices that are attached to the cover include a locking system in a form of elastic hook elements fixed to edges of the cover that can be brought into snap-on engagement with other locking system on the structure in order to retain the cover on the structure.

  • Publication number: 20070223997
Abstract: The invention relates to a cover for a surface drainage device or similar hollow body that is to be embedded in the ground and to be opened. The cover comprises an upper surface over which pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic can pass, and at least one locking element that is attached to an underside of the cover such that the upper side is closed over the locking element. The locking element is disposed at a specified distance from the underside in such a way as to form an air gap for thermal insulation between the underside and the locking element.

  • Patent number: 7144185
Abstract: A street grid is provided for surface drainage. The grid includes a frame and a grating, which are adapted to the contours of a paved gully in order to be integrated into the latter, for draining water that flows towards the street grid in a pre-defined flow direction. The aim of the grid is to ensure permanent drainage. To achieve this, recessed inlet openings are provided in the upper edge of at least one lateral wall of the frame in order to guide the water in the flow direction.

  • Patent number: 7059804
Abstract: The invention relates to a drainage device for surface drainage, in particular to drainage channels with a channel body and a frame which fits on an upper edge of the channel body, comprising an outer arm and an inner arm between which the upper edge of the channel body sits, for housing a cover. According to the invention, simple economic production and assembly of the frame on the channel body may be guaranteed whereby the frame is embodied such as to be able to be cast within the body of the channel body on the casting thereof, or alternatively, may be fixed to the channel body by means of continuous jointing to a pre-fabricated channel body.

  • Patent number: 5518336
Abstract: Drainage gutters for installation in the ground are known which comprise a gutter body at the upper edges of which are integrally cast frames into which a cover can be placed. As they are installed in the ground the drainage gutters are sealed from the ground along their upper edges by means of first sealing devices. To produce a watertight seal between each two drainage gutters that abut one another by their end faces, second sealing devices are provided. These sealing devices each comprise grooves that can be filled with a sealant. The known drainage gutters are not completely watertight with respect to the ground. It is proposed to provide connecting channels between the first and the second grooves, so constructed that the sealant of the first sealing devices can be introduced so as to be continuous with the sealant of the second sealing devices by way of a complete or integral transition region.
